Get over it - a good cause is a good cause despite where they advertise.

Yo shorty - post up some pics of your ride. :thumb:

nath made his own one for his car. Looks tits. Left off the ACS logo, and just used the stripe - perfectly acceptable on a non-ACS car, and looks the shizz. There's a pic in an earlier thread

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: What Gus is trying to say is no - you get it for the day/night you are at the hotel.

Thought someone might actually be interested.

oh. yeah I suppose $37 is a bit cheap for a shock. I don't think mine has gas struts on the boot - springs. Did some come with gas ones? I'd have thought mcmillan would charge more than $37 for one of those anyway.
-
Better not put anything in your boot then if you need new shocks for a spoiler!2g painting and fitting!! Bastards - total ripoff.

A remappable chip is the way to go - tangible gains are apparently possible (from the mouths of those who have had it done). I haven't done mine, so what I say is just what I've heard. I have heard of a couple of good brands to look for, but they escape me for the moment. If I remember I will post back. But I have heard of a well tuned (chipwise) M325i with custom exhaust and pod filter making 192hp, which is comparable to the first of the catalysed M3's with the previous uncatalysed one making 200hp I think, and the newer catalysed 215. So with no other serious mods other than exhaust and chip it seems big gains can be made. The M325 I was referring to was in an issue of total BMW and the guy had also beefed up brakes, dropped the car 60mm and thrown in a hartge strut brace, but as far as engine mods, that was it. It was in europe somewhere so they called it a 325i Sport, but I am led to believe this is essentially a M325i by a different name.

Yeah, I always find mouse and rat droppings behind the cupboard in my cave, but I never see the bastards. Its the freaking crickets that I hate - crawl down inside the wall and chirp by my f**ken ear all f**ken night f**ken shits. Raid 30-day sprayed liberally around every skirting, crack, door, sill, window, light fitting sorted that sh*t out, but I was vacuuming up dead crickets for weeks. Now I hear the bloody rats on the roof eating macadamia nuts like little squirrells - the Raid doesn't work on rats. I prefer possums, they're big enough to shoot - my possum quota is three already this week. Possum stew is similar to mouse stew - put possum, vegetables, herbs spices and salt in a pot with an old boot. If no boot available, use a rock. Boil for a week. Throw everything out of the pot and eat the boot/rock.

I paid 6 for mine 6 months ago, not a bargain, but i'm happy. depends on cond. Good luck wit the sale.

I like it - new acquisition? What sort of money did you pay if you don't mind me asking as I am trying to decide what to upgrade to (E30 M325i, E34 525i or E36 325i). PM me if you don't want the world to know. I agree you should lower it ever so slightly, and although they look really good, I would prefer different wheels.

Would be interested myself, but when you look at the VIR, it shows that the odo has been swapped out or wound back in 2003. As the current owner owned it then, you should be able to find out exactly what the story is, but a rough calculation shows actual mileage is closer to 280000km. This is a little high for me as I want something under 200000kms, but others of you may not care. Plus, this owner probably would have looked after it quite well as it is the e30 parts dude in Orewa. linkage to auction linkage to VIR For those of you who are interested.

A peanut, or some chunky peanut butter always works for me. Or bait, but then it might die inside your walls - you figure out the rest. An AK 47 would work too I guess. I have often thought about pulling the .22 on the odd mouse, but then again, I live in a cave, so the odd bullet hole in the wall isn't such a problem.

That's a great idea. I'd definitely support the use of taxpayer money for some of those. People would actually slow down, and they wouldn't cost much - cheaper than a guy actually standing there with a gun (except loss of income from fines issued), and would work until people figured them out. Clever.

What commercial tickets you looking at Cilk? I want to work up to Ocean yacht, but no ambition for commercial. bumpstop has a mate with some sort of commercial ticket (I forget what now), and I have half a dozen mates with second and third mate tickets. The owner of the silver M3 at the BMWCC show & shine at Shakespeare is the old man on the Golden Bay.

good - I like the m coupes.
-
Shoot it!!!!!!!!!!! :rambo: :rambo: :rambo: Seriously though - as with the one I like the front and sides front of the B pillar. What the should have done is made one with the rear based on the Z3/4 m coupes. Now that would look sweet. Edit meant m coupe, not m raodster.
-
A BMW hatch and 4x4 will prob never sit quite right in my head, but that said, I really like the front and side styling on the one. I don't like the rear though - not really what I'd expect from a bimmer.

Land Surveyor/Beginner property developer. Four years at varsity funded by barwork. Started as a cleaner, worked my way through glassy/bartender, got into pub promotions and then started my own gig guide (since shut down partly coz I got bored with it, partly due to threats from a community group about discrimination blah blah, human rights commission, blah blah). Helped a mate start up a new bar. plan on surveying funding my property ventures, and then the property ventures funding my lifestyle/would like to open a couple of bars.
