Perfect stance, sweet wheels, clean. That's 3 ticks for a win in my book. Awesome!

355 F1 in Paihia Damn there being no free parking so I couldn't stop and take a pic. Most fantastic Yellow ever. Looks to be a brand new import. Someone got a sweet xmas present! Google pic will have to do:

FYI as long as when you post links you aren't blatantly advertising other forums, it's OK. Feel free to post up links to cool projects on other forums.

Same gap as in the manual (I forget off the top of my head). That is the correct NGK plug for that motor, and gap should be same as the champions. Edit - did a quick google. 0.7-0.8mm.

No I laughed because the guy has a car bra on his rusty bonnet.

Yeah I know alot about the rat rods and their history thanks to hours watching rodding shows and dvd's. I just thought that the tuners had coined their own term. Anywho, I had to laugh at this:

I'm holding judgement until it's progressed a little further. Might pull it off. BTW it's Rust Rod, not Rat Rod. Well at least that's my opinion.

Yup, Toyo make a couple of tyres in that size. i got some Toyo TEO+ for the MR2. Not a high performance z-rated tyre, but fairly good regardless.

Hope you're having a good one Sam. I know you well enough that you won't be on here until sometime in the early hours of the morning by which stage you won't be able to type anything coherent. Hope to see you over new years cockface.

AFM on the pressure side and stock intake boot - can't imagine how well that works. Intake boot should blow up like a balloon with very little boost, and AFM not designed to read airflow when it's under pressure (ie denser than atmosphere). I'd be interested to see how they got it running, and what sort of ecu it has.

Removed cosworth discussion. Off topic, irrelevant, pointless discussion. Keep it on topic lads.

Nice choice of rim. Don't go as low as James' pic. A nice drop but not sacked will suit the rims. Needs rake.

This DO WANT. Facelift, great colour, has all of the extras you'd want. The only thing I can see that isn't perfect is half-leather seats. Easily changed. All the hard stuff liek the widescreen tv, multi-functions wheel, carbon trims, clubsport trim level, etc is done. HOT.

I posted the link to the regs in my previous post. As far as indicators go, rear indicators can be red or amber (but not white). Fronts and sides can be white or amber (but not red).
-
The law hasn't changed. Cops are either ill-informed, or the lighting was the wrong colour or flashing or similar. NZTA I used to have blue ones on my first e30. Misguided. I have alot of the wiring and control units and some of the light bars if anyone wants them to have a play. Blue LED type with wireless remote.

Simmons Custom wheels for you E30 owners
bravo replied to greenday-rulz21's topic in TradeMe discussions
They're a sh*t offset and look terrible on that e30. Bloody sweet wheel design though! I must admit checking them out on the Simmons site a few times when I was wheel shopping. -
My red tails flash red = badass. Rear indicators can be amber or red, so that's fine for WOF. Shady - the reason they sell it when it's illegal is: 1/ It's not designed for that purpose - it's for tinting glass. Artists use it, we've just adapted it. 2/ It's not up to them to decide whether you should or shouldn't use it. The car you may want to modify may not be going on the road so doesn't have to be legal. It'd be like saying you can't buy 3" exhaust tubing as it's unlikely that you'll be making a legal-sounding exhaust with it.

Long day James? They're Lenso's, just not the Lenso's that look good on e30's.
-
Lenso make some awesome wheels for e30. Those aren't them. And the cage doesn't do it for me. Too many compromises. Cage or full interior - you choose. Repower is awesome though.
-
Nice. I think the rust rod look might work here. But I'm not sure where this diff coloured mirror bizzo is coming from???? Nice dish on the borbets - look to be genuine Type A's?
-
You got your answer. Closed before anyone gets childish.

Spotted now outside my office window: e60 550i - f**k yeah! Cell ph pics don't do it justice. It's a local car as that plate was on an e46 (I think) until recently.

It's good value for the price, good quality, and the slotted holes don't matter - mine hasn't moved. But a stiffer one would be better. As said before - read the thread on them I posted above. More info than you'll probably ever need on front brace theory and these bars in particular.
