sh*t. Stop driving on the beach!

Clear style for sure. The chrome style is too rice. Look in the for sale section. Our forum sponsor SUSPENSION has excellent springs for e36 at excellent prices.

You can get secondhand carpet for free. All my garages have been carpeted. When they get too scungey you just replace with more. Loving the pics Riley - I like the attention to detail. I need more patience lol.

More meets in summer. Plenty in and around Auckland and further North and South. Welcome to the forum. We're getting a great new band of e30's in here again. In the early days the site should have been called e30sport, but over time the e30's got watered down, but now there's some quality e30s again - awesome!

Spent most of yesterday getting soaked pulling yachts off rocks and beaches. We had 4 yachts break moorings in the bay. Feel sorry for the owners. I climbed onto 1 to see if it was holed or not, and the cabin was full of water - the owner's possessions floating around inside. All we could do was secure it until the tide went out. Was still there this morning. The owner's responsibility now. Not as bad as 10th July 2 years ago, but uncannily similar date. We got the worst of it on the 11th. Put a downer on my house warming party. Several people couldn't make it because they were stranded by the storm.

Woah! Check out the brain on Emily! Hanging out too much with e30 owners. She be right dude.

ditto to all the above. KT prefers the e30 over the mr2, but isn't into the drive of a stock one. Doesn't like the soft handling or boring look. As with Brooke^^ she loves the looks she gets because of how rowdy and different it is. Only problem is the lead foot.

You're still part ricer, part e30 enthusiast. Give it another year or so and you'll see why the Borbets are popular.

I love the comments. AMERICA WINS!

^^smok'n'! Her face was about 16yo, but the body early twenties. Niiice... Your e30 jack will have a little cup to sit the sill on. The e36 ones have a bar that slides into a hole in the side of the car. I liked the pensioner who set fire to her car on the motorway because she couldn't get it out of first and had to get to an appointment so just rang it out until it caught fire. And she still managed to get the insurance company to pay out! I bet she didn't tell them why it caught fire and wouldn't be surprised if she gets a call from them now the episode has aired.

At that price buy a set of Johnnos Borbets!

Coolant. You need to find the source of the loss, but in the meantime, just fill it up with antifreeze. You can buy the Nulon stuff from Repco or similar, or if you can get to BMW, their coolant is the correct stuff and costs about the same. The correct mix is about 50% antifreeze, 50% distilled water, but for top-ups straight anti freeze or straight water will do until you get it fixed. Just don't leave it for too long util you fix it in case you cook the motor.

If they were the correct offset they'd have wicked dish and I'd be keen. Someone will likely snap them up at that price.

Or the chap that flushed his motor with a running hose. Not the coolant - the oil.

No. But pre f/l has chrome around the windows, f/l is black. You can swap them (the trims) over - but is a bit of a PITA. The doors themselves are EXACTLY the same.

Apart from the obvious bodgy design, can't see a huge problem with making a strut brace out of wood, but the way to do it would be to get something hard like kauri. rip it down, make up a jig, and bend the kauri to shape and create a laminated beam. Strong or stronger than an aluminium one.

Got one of these for sale (picture shamelessly stolen from trademe): Unused, not on contract, so hook it up without being tied into an existing contract. Retail is/was around $200. $50 incl. courier anywhere in nz. Cheers.
