I'm in the middle of building something very very similar to this but 2-stroke. I've found myself leaning more & more towards smokers. Just have a liking for under 200cc 2-strokes.

Why is it that when ever someone converts a wagon (or even a sedan) to a ute they ALWAYS get the back window so wrong? The only decent one i've seen is Stuart Appleby's M5, but i think the reason the rear window and C-D pillars look ok is they took design ques from a VN - VS Holden ute.

That's what i use and beleive me i get reasonable results. I bought it because my $1900 Rupes sh1t itself in the middle of a job. The cheap one has done ALOT of work and still going ok. Ditch the wool pad mate and go to a paint supply place and get at least 2 foam pads (different grades for different cuts) I use a kit that has cut, gloss, glaze & mist compounds, 3 microfibre cloths, 3 foam pads and an apron and at $80 plus $88 for the cheap buff i'm sorted.

Belonged to a chick before the guy who has it now and i think she did (got done) the manual swap. The body kit is factory M kit according to the VIN.

So far i've found out it's a 320i auto that's been converted to manual and has factory M Sports suspension, M leather steering wheel, M Aerodynamics package but grey headlining.

Wondering if anyone knows this car as the owner wants to swap it for mt Statesman. It's a 320 manual with 170XXX km's in hamilton.

Damn scary to drive when you do a bit of......................umm..........................spirited cornering. Understeer becomes instant oversteer without warning. ALOT of chocolate starfish have puckered VERY tightly because of the Piazza cornering (in) ability.

Damn things get under ya skin don't they haha.

I think you'll find alot of the remaining "murkyness" is still on the outside surface. I don't have much faith in alot of the plastic "restoration" kits. The BEST way is this (i understand alot of you won't have the resourses at hand tho') Sand the plastic with 800 wet n dry, then do the same with 1500 wet n dry. Buff (machine buff if possible as you'll be there for days doing it by hand) the lenses with cutting compound, then apply a swirl remover (machine buff again) Clean lenses really really well with clean warm water. Apply 2 - 3 coats of 2 pack clear (High solid clear is best for UV protection) Unmask and walk away. Will last for years. Did my partners car about a year ago and still looks good. If any one wants to send their lights down i can sort them out at a very reasonable price.

Yep, a genuine one. A guy brought it into work and told the boss he wanted out of it because he was sick of fixing the gearbox. I bought it off my boss for $100 and we pulled the motor and box the same day and found the end of the gear change shaft #19 in pic was buggered and kept stripping the spline out of the knukle #20 in pic.
