Untidy BUT all there (important bits anyway) '87 M325i Thanks for the info guys (in my M325i I.D thread) It popped up on TM at half 5 last night and by 9:15 i owned it, even in the dark i knew it had to be rescued. Has a few minor issues (that i've found anyway) No WOF, reg' on hold. Goes well. Now my problem is.......I DON'T WANT IT, but for the price i couldn't NOT buy it. If someone wants it PM me, BUT i'm not giving it away. It won't be on TM, i'm putting it here because the BS community has been good to me with members supporting my business and all. I would put it in the 'for sale' section but would have to put a price on it and i don't know what it's worth, hence why it's in here haha. OR i'll wreck it, has all the good bits including black head lining.

What makes you think i'm buying one? Maybe i'm doing some research for a......ummm..........study.....yeah that's it....... i'm writing a "paper"

This is odd, unless he actually works for the finance co' or the likes of a "retail" lender. Otherwise an agent (repo' agent) stays at arms length from any "reminders" We NEVER gave "reminders", phone calls or otherwise. We were simply there to collect money or goods (or in some cases items to the value of)

Yep, Nikita has given good advice mate. Don't understand why you didn't set up an AP at time of signing contract / agreement tho'. It's the very first thing we used to get people to do. Used to get so many saying "yeah mate, i'll pop down to the bank every 20th", after a month the excuses would start to flow tho'. On the other hand, it sure was fun to see the looks on peoples faces when ya knocked on the door and informed them who ya were haha.

1990 Magna wagon, 2.6L manual. Real tidy for age, WOF & reg. And no it doesn't smoke or have any rust (that i can find), which is rare for a 22 year old Mitsi. $1100 ono.

Simple (hindsight now tho') Do NOT let a car go without seeing the reciept saying it's been transferred out of your name. Also, for others who find themselves in a similar situation, you can't de-register the car, the other person has legally bought it off you and you will drop yourself into a world of poo. Doing repo' work gives one an insight into the whole "ownership of property" thing.

Just a quick question. Why do/would people go to Turners for a car in this day & age? They're theives and because they "auction" their cars Joe Public has NO recourse.
-
26, pretty sad that i knew Ssangyong, TATA and Vettal. But then again i am a "car guy".

I'd take that article for what it is, Turners propaganda. A study by Turners for Turners about Turners. "Latest figures from Turners show Kiwis paying up to 15% more for used vehicles" Now, wouldn't it be nice for them to do a "media release" with Turners "fee" increases over the same period. Wouldn't be surprised if Kiwis are paying 15% more because Turners, over the last 12-18 months have increased fees by 15%.

They're called Moon discs, created by Dean Moon for his El Mirage Dry Lake and Bonneville Salt Flats cars. I used to have a set on my "salt" look Holden HQ.

I agree mate. I personally have never had a prob' with Lucas stuff, but then i've only ever used there oils and never any of their "mechanic in a can" stuff. I think that seller may be opening themsevles up making allegations on a public site.

Ok, so my son wants a new project and has showed an interest in E3s. Yeah yeah i know i had 2 but they're long gone, if ya get offered good money you'd be silly to turn it down. So if anyone knows of an E3 sitting under a tree or in a paddock let me know. Running gear isn't important but body needs to be reasonable.

Alot of manufacturers do that to their "test mules".
