  1. Carnauba wax is the only method and as graham says will only stick around a little bit. Professional high temp uv resistant clear is the only way for polished wheels. If not you can get them anodised.

  4. The first version of Drive Away Protection was installed on production vehicles 9/93 through 12/93. EWS II for 96-97 .. the chip is is molded into the key. Up to 6 additional keys may be ordered as replacement keys. The EWS II control module is codeable for only 10 keys (4 delivered with vehicle and 6 replacement). BMW order sorry.
  5. Yeah sorry dual 2 inch. Keeping it two pipes will let the engine keep its mid range torque curve instead flattening it out (true story ). For a road car / track car Vanos is still a really good system. You will only step out side of its adjustment range if your going for wild cams. Variable cam timing is perfect for road/track day usage. In the real world you will use your mid range torque most. Would you believe there is a noticeble difference when when I put my straight through perferated center muffler on vs the straight through in the top end. Fabricator was suprised. Shows you how sensitive the 6's are when you mess with their systems.

  8. With your car being an e30, ditch the cats as around cert time e30's never had them so no point putting them on. For the s50b32 for the best in torque go for 2inch thin walled stainless and carry it up to about mid way. Use a straight through center muffler (no s-bends or traps) then 2inch through to the back box muffler. Dont use a straight through back box muffler as it wont muffle the sound enough. Something nice a deep should be good, just remember that it needs to be able to muffle the lack of second center muffler or trap based center muffler. If you're going to be running above a 264/256 cam set then going to 2.5 inch all the way will help top end flow at the expense of mid range torque. Stock m3 BMW exhausts are tuned for extra 'blockages' of running catalytic converters. Hence the different sizes in pipe diameters. I built my exhuast on advice given from gavin and what I wanted the car for and what hes seen on his dyno and tuning. Im running an s50 obviously which pushes more air naturally with the extra literage of the engine and flow of the larger valves. So you should land about right on 2inch with your setup kerry. Just do me a favour and dont make it out of mild steel. Go thin walled stainless if you can shell the $$$ for it. Eventually my plan to 3.4/.5 stroker my engine comes to fruition (a far way off) then ill be changing to 2.5inch.

  11. Stock air box with a clean filter is best unless you go with something that creates proper physical separation from the engine bay heat to the outside air. Pod mounted filters will give you more induction noise. Ram air doesn't work on cars with MAF sensors Any gains you make are made with cooling the intake air down. Get yourself a OBDII cable and software and read the intake temprature from stock then afterwards with your filter/box setup to measure real world differences. You can also read your MAF loading. Ive been doing this myself when designing and sealing off my airbox system. One big mistake a lot of people make when doing a airbox is totally sealing it except the coldair inlet, this causes 'eddies' and pressure fluctactions. This is why alot of stock airboxs have a pressure eqaulising port to stop this.
  12. Im pretty sure that a ammendment to the law isnt stopping anyone from starting a plates business up and doing what plates is doing. The business just needs to be approved by the LTSA and use the single approved plates manufacture. Which im told only costs $37 to produce. Would totally pay for $100 official euro plates.
  13. What others have said. What I think you need is a solid logo on white, not a colourful glamour. I know (and use) the product. It depends what your target market is, for mail washer I think its aimed at your IT sysadmin / archtect types. The colourful stuff / 'box art' looks more like its aimed at the home market. I would look at people like VMware / Citrix / Cisco / Microsoft for marketing ideas. A friend of mine works for Tomizone and done alot of their marketing stuff.   14. They can, anything to do with inproper liciencing and display of a motor vehicle they have power over. When I had the 330 its front number'plate' sticker got me quite a few Its classed as not displaying correct registration plates.
