I like the comment on youtube comments which really sums up my feelings over the past few days. "...i will never forget this day and when i go to complain about anything in my life, i will pause and remember, i have nothing to complain about..."

Hey guys, Most of CHCH probably wont be online to check. I work at Telecom and have a view of a lot of companies networks as well as the Telephone network and its power has been cut. Communications is #1 for telecom to get established. All companies business continuity plans have been activated. Cell coverage is number one prioirity to restore. Telecom is asking that cell phone usuage is for emergcy only, As a lot of cell sites are now running on battery and have around 8-10hours of life left. My advise is text _essential_ communitcation now as it probably wont last for long to your family / friends. There is obviously a lot of network congestion as well. I'm sure those of you with family in CHCH like myself have been in contact with them. Speaking with a friend down there (immortal on here who works with Atta (CrazyArab) ) they had a couple of buildings collapse around their building and obviously the worse thing theyve heard ever. Pull together guys ... theyre going to need all the help they can get down there. Thinking about starting a fund or something.. will think about this later on. PS. Tony, f**ken glad niks is ok ... let us know if she needs any help down there as I have some family down there if she needs somewhere to stay or what ever.

Why not just code the LCM properly ? ..

Awesome work man very well deserved and I love the wheels

My 'humps' didnt look as big as yours .. I just tightened it down. Tested it out at the track day and it didnt shift under load from the slicks so its good PS you wont snap your bolts if you pack them with shims as the load is minimal betweek 5mm. It would take more than the car could throw at it to snap hi tensile bolts only at 5mm.

ahh nice ray they both turned out great!

This shot was taken by a friend of mine while my band and I were filming our new music video for Antiform - Bury Me. Shoot location Riverhead forest/AKL at dusk. I did some colour grading on it to bring it inline with film grade. Also I think shows off the motorsport 'look' as some of you remember in the old BMW commercails such as 'The Star' Enjoy Will get my ass into gear and do a full photoshoot of it soon.

sweet as .. @ hampton tomorrow if you're bored. yeah it was a bit of a fail for me today .. not because of the chassie / control arm eyeball arms being offset but because my exhaust and o2 sensors fowls up. Not a lot I can do about it as its tighter than a nun in there and no room really for anything to move. So its not a fault of the bar at all, just what you get when everything on this car has been adjusted to fit. 2 out of 3 wasn't bad I could turn it the other way around (the low brace) however it would cause it to be the lowest point in the car ..

Some additions. I was very suprised how light these all were. Front strut brace, rear strut brace and under body chassie brace. Front strut brace installed. It cleared the s50 perfectly and more importantly the brake fluid well. The rear brace was a little bit more difficult to install because of my ground control rear top mounts and tower re-inforcement plates. I had to remove both wheels and drop the top bolts out. and installed Ill install the under body brace tomorrow and upload the result.

There are three ways to go about it. The OEM route which is pretty expensive all up. Needed: Rear bumper carrier, lighting tow module, swan neck tow ball, wiring harness. This uses rebranded Westfalia parts The Westfalia route You can by a full kit for motorsport and non-msport and touring models Or the Best bars route as glenn suggested was which is fairly cheap however they're not removible and dont look very OEM once installed.

SMGI is fine. everyone bitches and moans about SMG as if its a major thing if it goes wrong. The pumps and hydrylic parts are easy enough to get and replace. I think what scares people is the fact it needs to have a re-alignment after parts are replaced on NCS expert or gt1. The clutch is just a standard clutch you can get replaced. Its not a special item.
