Hi all, has anyone got any station wagons/touring that they are parting out? I'm after bootlid tail lights for a 2000+ (facelift) model. Thanks

Hi all, just seeking some opinion on costs. I’m looking to put my e39 touring on sale but not sure the value. Market seems up and down. details… 2001 191,xxx kms oxford green with beige leather interior xenon headlights Lowered on style 66 (incl. spare). New front tyres. Replaced the following - abs module, alternator, MAF. Carried out yearly service at Auckland BMW. I’ve only had this for 14months or so but time to move onto my other projects.

Hi all, funny this thread. I was looking at this back when it was still on TE. Messaged the lady, and she sent all the service history and mentioned husband passed and she wanted it gone. I replied, “my condolences” she didn’t respond back… guess I now know hahaha. Congrats on the buy, hope it’s not a daily driver …

Hi everyone, Couple days ago the red battery light came on the dash and now I have potential battery drain issues. As I remember the following happened in order: radio flickered battery light came on instrument cluster warning lights (ABS, DSC etc) came on *Trans fail safe mode activated radio switches off I managed to coast home, pulled out my multi-meter and the battery voltage was 8v. I don't use the car much so the battery was was on charge overnight before driving on the day. I was driving for a good couple hours on the day before the issues started. I'm thinking I maybe I have a voltage regulator issue. I checked the alternator and it was putting out 14.v when the car was running. I also checked the battery charge when the car was running and it was around 18v, hence thinking its a bad voltage regulator. I recharged the battery now at 12.7v, started the car (battery light still on), but everything else was working (radio, no other warning lights on the dash). However when I put my foot on the accelerator again *trans fail safe mode kicked in, radio switched off dash lights came on. Now I'm 80% sure it's the regulator based on this however, this morning when I went to start up the car it wouldn't start and the multimeter read 0.1v so battery drain as well. Just wanted to know that my thinking is right about the voltage regulator and it needing to be changed, hopefully sorting out the *trans fail safe mode and battery light issue, but will this also be the reason behind the potential battery drain issue (as in a faulty voltage regulator can cause battery drain)? Thanks

Hi all, Just seeing if anyone has any headlights like the attached photo that I can buy off them?

Hi readers, I'm looking for a motorsport steering wheel for an e39 (1997), obviously has to be single stage airbag. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think an e38 steering wheel would do the job? Thanks

-

-
passenger door card and handle available?
-
Is your 540i an msport? I might know a person that knows a person with an e39 M5 who could be tempted to sell theres for the right amount.
-
I managed to get a quote to NZ. was about AUD$39.
-
what is the colour on it? plain non-primed black?
-
Hello all, Does anyone know a good upholsterer who can do a sagging headliner and does anyone know the cost for upholstering a station wagon headliner? Thanks

Arent all BMW drivers weird hahaha

Wow the 4.8is is stunning. I'm a bit tempted by either, but yeah i'd still have to set aside a bit i think for maintence which brings me to this listing? 2003 BMW X5 VERY RARE / SUPER LOW KMS | Trade Me Motors Under 100,000 kms for 1 dollar less than $20k? You'd hope there's no issues with it and perhaps get a warranty???

Newly posted X5 4.6is. https://www.trademe.co.nz/2952709658 Looks like some work has gone into it. Nice and tidy, just not sure it's worth the asking price of $8,000 for a 290,000km 4.6is. I'm guess a new buyer would have to set aside about $8,000 to $10,000 for any outstanding/unknown issues. E46 M3 smg steering wheel is a nice addition. What's everyone's thoughts?

Hey mate, will this bolt up onto an e39 525i touring? Any additional bits and pieces needed? Also looking at long term project plans to either supercharge engine or drop in new engine so hopeing this gearbox conversion can take it. Thanks

Hi mate, how much did you end up selling this for. I'm trying to gauge prices. thanks heaps.
