  1. Was going to hold on to these for a rainy day, but i dont see that day coming so are offered for sale. At this price they arent a steal as im happy to hold on to them, but reasonable to reflect condition and open to offers 16x7.5, et25, 4x100 (E30 fitment), Authentic Hartge Is technically a set of 4, but one of them has quoted irreparable damage from when a bolt came out of my front calipers and it flicked up and ran a groove around the inside of the wheel. Both Rim-right wheels in Palmy (aka Warren, or The Man for Mags) and Arrow Wheels in Auckland said it was not possible/uneconomical to repair based on description, and unsafe to use in present condition. The other 3 are good condition, have the odd curb mark here and there on them. Ill inspect them properly tomorrow and let you know. Had two authentic center caps at one point.. ill see if i can find those as well and will go with the wheels. Tyres are, at this point, not included and not for sale, but that could change $500 ono
  2. i did before the car got taken to pieces yeh edit: which means as far as i know yes. i havent done anything further to try fix it edit2: (after reading the thread) I replaced both left and right senders and still had the same issue. Did not check to see if the level in each side was the same, but the car doesnt run out of fuel.. it must get fuel from the LHside as well.. no way i can do 500-600+ kms on one side of the tank in town driving. So i doubt that syphon tube is the issue. hmm
  3. one day... haha. That would be mean if someone steps up to the plate on this and makes NZs first E30 332iX (possibly Australasia's?)
  4. ^ thats the priority list! wheels and suspension come under the same category mainly because my FWD rims dont fit 52mm struts without spacers, which theres no point me buying. Off topic, but i cant be bothered finding my build thread: Will be picking up a new starter motor tomorrow and installing it if the weather clears up. If not ill go pick up some supplies and make a start on having a go at reconditioning my new wheels Also my battery has been on charge and my friends dads shop the last two days and will be tested in the morning to see if its still okay. will also PM you Jono about tyre options later tonight
  5. needs a euro bootlid ASAP. that japanese one lets down the car imo. But looks good mate what does that drive like?
  6. i doubt youd be able to move it without cutting wires. Id figure out where you are wanting to relocate it and then cutting each individual wire, adding in hew wire to lengthen, and then move on to the next wire. Would be a very slow boring painfull process id say. may find it benificial to pick up a second fuse box from a wrecked car if you re planning to relocate into the cabin so they can be threaded to the firewall. Have fun
  7. Beautiful car mate! Loving the headlight wipers.. all the cool kids are rocking them Welcome
  8. thats neat! surprised they fitted boot lids/doors/bumpers etc by hand, yet they put the space saver in by robot! maybe it maximises prevention of damage to paintwork etc idk. Just found my new dream job though lol
  9. Cant really give any advice on what componentry to use, but just a heads up that the guy at pitstop when i got my exhaust done said that new regulations are being phased in that it cant be over 95dB up to and at 4000 rpm (edit: and post 02-ish is 90dB!), and that if the car is fitted with a cat from the factory then it needs to be retained. However there is leniancy for our cars in the second regulation because it was produced right in the era where cars started to get them en masse. I know its not the sort of reply you had intended to get from this thread, but its something to watch out for if you didnt already know
  10. May have to make a mount for the gearbox too. It could be done, theres a guy in the states (on R3v) rocking one in his E36
  11. Well done! not a fan of E36s personally, but thats a tidy score!
  12. shocks dont adjust height last i checked?
  13. was about this time three years ago i crashed my E30 too. combination of just put on to Restricted, just got my first RWD, outside school where all my mates were, and oily road. another agreement to LSD = safe. car feels tenfold more more confident cornering since i put that in
  14. i think so yeap. take this to PM if you want to
  15. lol hes probably talking about the the caps being the only thing salvagable on the car
  16. Lol yeh we did it to take the piss. Were going to paint it USSR army colours complete with "My other car is a [insert some russian tank's name here]" as well, but it shat the starter motor the weekend before and it has been parked up ever since untill a few weeks ago when i sold her. Are they all DDs/racecars, or what youve had through the shop? the latter is cheating
  17. you can get them from offshore sites but they technically arent legal so you MAY be pulled up for them. A google search will come up with a variety of sites you can get them from.
  18. I couldnt find reverse when i got it and actually got to the point where i thought maybe it didnt have one.. then my IT teacher told me you had to push the lever down to get into R haha (he used to own one)
  19. "Do Work" on there? best looking drifter E30 imo. Not that i actually care much for drifing
  20. hey Just a question regarding cross compatability between starters. Does an M40 starter have the same amount of teeth/profile as an M20 (facelift) starter, and therefore can be used interchangably? Plugged the part numbers into RealOEM and it doesnt even register let alone say its cross compatable.
