SA cars can fetch an extra 500 - 1000 on top of an identical (more or less) Jap car, coz of the special bits on them. That said.. i wrecked one with a siezed engine. id resto it an flick it, seeing as you can get parts for below cost from other wrecked ones?

i assume by you looking at that site, you are considering getting one? Waste of time really imho. The patrol cars use a different frequency now to the one all the low end detectors pick up. My one only picks up speed cameras now, and the occassional police car that hasnt been converted. But i havent used it for 6 months so probably doesnt even pick up the cars anymore. So Legal or not here.. they are pretty pointless to own really. i got mine cheap though You are looking at around the $2k mark for a detector that picks up the band the 5-0 use now last time i checked. Not worth it imo.. if you can justify spending that much, you shouldnt be on the road Definately interesting the fines in other countries though!

Looks nice on standard bodied E30s, but too i want something with a lower offset.. Listing Here - E36 Sump. from an M52 but will fit M50 as well. Pickup and dipstick tube thrown in too. Have some Jamex Lows if you want them. Are you after the rears only or the fronts too? The fronts arent Jamex they are ///M Springs. Old as photo but no recent photos of the overall car (all recent photos are of the Engine haha), but those are the springs installed Make an offer

I think i understand what you are trying to say.. are you saying the rego lapsed for 2 years, and because of this the car was dereged. Then in 1997 someone decided to bring the car back into service and recomplied the car? This sounds like the most likely story yet, followed by the reshell Its the VIN that makes it interesting. I doubt they would have cut and welded on a new VIN stamp. Its possible.. but thats almost TOO far. Especially for a car like this, which, while rare, isnt THAT rare that you need to go through that. prehaps if only a few hundred were built....

I know of someone through a firend with a Camry gearbox on the back of an M70 in his offroader, so if the M70 and M60 have the same bellhousing then it should fit. iirc it bolted straight up with no modification. not sure if any modification needs to be used to fit it into a BMW though

never seen an E36 but from what ive been told the E36 one has two mounting points on it while the E30 has one. Except the E36 compact which essentially has the same rear end as E30. Someone more knowledgable will confirm or otherwise though

To my knowledge there are three different manual driveshafts. please name your engine and gearbox

If hybrids are this good then ill get one in the future. if not, ill stick to second hand petrols

^^ what does an M50 E34 run? does that one have the built in expansion tank too? i have two M20 radiators here so no issue to use that.. its just for cleanness of the engine bay that im thinking the built in expansion tank. Thanks for your info!

At least its manual. Walking is just as fast as 320i Auto. manual makes the b20 a good engine
