given my previos post it shoud come as no surprise i would take either of the whaletailed 911s. Probably the latter. Was going to trade my E30 for a 924 (wasnt the best condition and was auto, but engine was low kms and at that stage i was used to auto anyway) early last year had the paperwork signed and everything but then mutual agreement to not go through with it. Wish i had in some ways. Take that E46 330i. badass. Im a Porsche man. But id still take a BMW over one
-
youll probably have to buy new because rarely does a touring get parted out.. try Smith and Smith Edit: i recall someone being on here that is an employee or or owner of a glass shop cant remember who though.. wait for them to hook you up, or search for an M20 engine block glass table or similar, someone said they could get the glass for it

in engine cup holder?

A 911 would be fine for a daily for me, i dont carry people or luggage so i dont need the extra useless room in a different car. The X however, i only said purely based on shape, though you cant tell me that that kind of car isnt going to start first time every time, and parts will be cheap than its euro rivals being Jap, and looks more ballsy than anything rolled out of Munich in the last 10 years

Does any anybody know of a shop with diag equipment

if you dont mind me asking, why wont BMW do it? that tells you something? -
911 Hands down. might not be the quickest, might not have the best handling, but everyone knows the 911. Is said Evo an EvoX? if so that would be second from those options
-
^^ yep. Id say that price is about as low as they will go. You are looking at the only 8 series ever produced... they are going to be a classic. and are only going to increase in value. That said, this one wont be as desirable/worth as much not being a CSi.. but i still doubt you will ever see one for sub $20k
-
Kill me, but id take one of these over an M3 any day. And as for M5, well.. i havent like the 5er since the E34. Been listed for ages though.
-
^^ i have the slimline ones and they are great. Got mine free with my first set of mags from Tonys Tyres so unsure on price but they will be able to get them. Just go to Johno though will be cheaper probably
-
And they ripped off Ssangyongs logo who used to make rip offs themselves haha (im aware they make thier owns cars now, powered by Benz)

not sure how cramped the M52 is in the E36 engine bay, but you should be able to do it yourself if you can turn a spanner/ratchet. Really easy. might be harder if the engine is a tight fit though. Repco or similar will be able to get them, not sure if you can get them cheaper elsewhere though.. -
To be fair he knew full well it wasnt an Mtech as he mentioned it as a reply to someone. Its part of the TradeMe user agreement that you list it how it is and not attempt to mislead buyers, and he knowingly broke this. I personally couldnt forgive myself if i mislead a buyer new to BMW which is the type of person this car is likely to be sold to
-
Lol agreed. Who knew there were other rounds >.< Somehow i dont think the V10 fits in with the whole V8 supercars thing lol
-
should be able to get from Repcos for a tenner?
-
And a schnitzer too bo! I asked him if hes keen to swap my Lada + $200 cash my way to get rid of the wheels
-
The thing with a Baur is that they are a love hate car.. there doesnt seem to be a middle ground, which makes a restored one quite desirable, and if it cant sell here should you try to, an overseas buyer will import it. I know what you mean eh. I considered retrofiting (thats the wrong word.. whats the opposite called???) chrome bumpers onto my facelift but never came to anything since i picked up the full Tech2 bodykit for $200 (no typo there!). pretty much every other thing is better about facelifts though
-
Baur ftw. Love them. E30 would be the logical decsion though. parts are easier to get than the E21 as stated, and better fuel economy in theory being fuel injected. get a late model though. M10 is aparently.. well.. not great (no experience to back this though)
-
You have got the flared gaurd to deal with that! That picture of the colour scheme is BAMF as! The little 2002 looks a bit soft stock, but those flares really beef it up!

*Pianos drop on Caravan, Daisy, and the Diesel BMW*
-
i think it looks pretty badass. needs some serious engine modification to get rid of the 'Rice' label though
-
Pointless information for the day.. same engine as the equivelent generation Land Rover Diesels *nods slowly
