  1. i think your price is bang on. Now you got me thinking about your car........................
  2. thats a huge jump you always get gains like that from the diesel cars
  3. im not a race guy yet, but I'm pretty sure i have read somewhere solid gearbox mounts but rubber engine mounts are not a good combo, everything needs to be the same
  4. maybe his E30 with no springs fell off the road like most of us predicted???
  5. not saying you won't get a cert. Im saying if you plan on running with no cert, then a modified bracket is going to be very obvious
  6. Aparently Gavin @ High Velocity is the BMW guy to see, wouldn't bother with plug in chips, you want a real tune suited to your car, your engine wear, your diff/gearbox etc
  7. my thoughts exactly! and you are right, my intention is never to make a profit on my Bimmersport groupbuys, its just my way of trying to give back to the community Lucan sounds prepared to do the same service, and for cheaper, so its a win for all of us!
  8. Ok, have a lot of people asking for another round, so lets go. Orders will close Monday week, so you will need to pay that night at the latest, to be sent next Tuesday. nevermind thread title/OP will update that shortly
  9. Sorry guys, maybe ask Lucan to order them in for you, he seems to know what hes doing and has nominated himself. Cheers Lucan, I am in on your deal
  10. especially if you are planning to run without a cert, it is a bad idea to use a custom mount, its very obvious. Even if you do get cert, the gearbox isnt designed to run on an angle, better off using the correct gearbox for the job, M40 G240 or a M5x gearbox
  11. The one that weighs less than 1400kg
  12. I have Troys one here, send him a message, I can send straight to you instead of via him if he is happy with that.
  13. Pretty much like you M3 originally! no idea what the story is for cameras, but no car on earth is built to sit in a garage, low milage on an old car is much more scary than a well used one, original gaskets etc all perishing 25 years later etc
  14. yes, very common in UK cars of this age, i suspect some of the dealers offered them. its like a little credit card type thing for immobilising, will only start if you have that. I guess it got replaced when BMWs started having EWS. Have wrecked 3x UK imports with that now
  15. sorry, this one http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-796178789.htm
  16. Found this on trademe, http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-796178789.htm looks like a very good candidate for a project, M52 swap, nicer wheels etc, and not feel bad about bastardising a 325i Price could do with a bit of gravity though, thats more than I paid for mine in nicer condition
  17. Would be no way near to most expensive way to drive 100,000km, if anything I would say thats pretty good. Basically anything 2011 and later costing 50k or more you would be loosing that kind of coin or more for the same milage
  18. Hey Guys Just in doing a bit of maintenance on my M70, finally changing upper sump gasket and rear main seal over this long weekend (yep took today off too) Found this with my oil pump chain, it looks much too loose to me, but haven't got too much experience inside engines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJSG_QBayKU&list=UU4z1HXPJGzNxVTDIdKMz1PA If this is not normal, any ideas how to tension it up? or is it self tensioning and should become tight when the engine is running??
  19. i too will wait till hype wears off and snap up cheap just like watching movies and clothes and BMWs
