I run E34 offset wheels on an E34, i found handling greatly improved fitting 15mm spacers to the FRONT of the car, making et-2 in the front and et13 in the back, same wheels themselves, but staggered tyres. I would assume putting spacers on the back would be the opposite.

would be keen if other members here are going along? -
I can think of a good solution to this problem
-
they dont have to do that any more. the seller gets a letter in the mail to say that its been changed, and to call NZTA if they think its an error. so if you move house, the letter goes missing, you would never know. Having said all that, whos name is on the database is only who is responsible for the fines etc accossiated with the vehicle, it is NOT legal ownership of the vehicle eg you can put your car into anyones name you like, such as if a friend came to new zealand for 6 months, but its still your car.

haha chur, been making the most of it being out of storage making sure everything is ok before i road trip to Auckland this weekend! were you in the black late model BMW that was trying to keep up? (not sure if its a 3 or a 5 they look the same)
-
have been in it, can confirm it goes well!

Lol.........

Lol not sticking up for him, I'm as much an Apple fan as they come, and i still agree with you lol. I will admit the Apple logo and the BMW logo both were an influence at the start for me, but then as you get used to them, you do realise both are a superior product to thier Asian bred alternatives. I enjoy making money as much as the next person, but if you have noone to share it with why bother lol +1 and im sure my company would be his supplier if he was using legitimate refurb resources from here.

yeah i saw it was listed but he cant be that serious about selling it at that price, so thought must be still tinkering with it. Hows yours Howard??? Ill be in auckland next weekend, and on the 28th, if you are keen to catch up.

yeah pretty common Pentosin hasnt been used, i dont know if your regular garages even carry it???? its pretty expencive stuff, i think Penrite was about $60 or so for a liter bottle

Easily solved, but a 5 series is a better car in Automatic, and that trans will still be very fresh
-
nice indeed!
-
So why are you still driving doggy old second hand 7 series instead of the latest Quattroporte?
-
i paid $1200 for the 750iL sitting in my driveway at the moment, and i still think i overpaid. just because its rare doesn't mean its valuble.
-
a lot of car for that price, of course, thats not reserve though, i hope start in indicative
-
Because it IS an M3, and a little thing called let the buyer beware. not like its the first car to be sold modified, and its not misleading, clearly says its a 2.5L engine etc

H&R Cups and E90 drop hats will have all the sump scraping goodness you want -
E32 are nice enough, but E34 is the pick. a bit smaller and lighter, parts a lot more common, and 525i/528i share engines with 3 series so plenty of after market options around etc. E38 is a good looking car though! the trouble with all 7s no matter the age, they all have issues. even a few years old etc. yes you can live without the automatic rear headrests working or the independant climate control etc etc, but then why buy a 7 in the first place, may as well get a Commodore. ---- Jared - Are the M60s really that much harder to work on than an M50/M52, putting size aside? I have never worked or owned a BMW V8
-
i should be all over this but i just brought wheels and need tyres now
-
Needs a V8 swap
-
Shes the fuzz now

Most of those i agree with, including the music one. I see people all the time in wellington CBD that have the car stereo up so loud they dont hear ambulance or fire trucks, most of them are "sacked" Mitsi Lancers or Mazda 323s with 5 subwoofers in them though

uhmmmm..... im not going to say that i did drive..... butttttt......
