There was a set of Cecotto rims offered on s14.net a while ago. Haven't seen 16" basketweaves come up sor sale here for a while.

Interesting. Used to be owned (and converted) by a young lawyer who moved to Wellington around the time it was converted by Graeme. Back then it was the only way to get it road legal. Remember it sitting in his shop. I bought the guys previous car which was a 2002tii. Long gone now.

I like how you managed to include the sign behind 'return your trundled here'.

Yes, I go there sometimes on my weekend drives. Old racing bikes and cars but also some more modern merchandise.

Is this a 'Hazet' torque wrench I see?

Would be interested in cost for this ... -
Hi all - 42043 set is out since yesterday. Mercedes Benz Arocs 3245. 25% off this weekend at Toyworld. RRP $399

The guy kept it for his son who is no longer interested in the car. A real shame. Needs new tires (very old). Engine seems ok. Hoses been apparently done. Have seen additional pics which looked tidy. Paint job could have even done better imho - only judging from what I have seen in engine bay and boot.

9Jx17 et26 is ok on the rear as long as you roll the guards. Front 8Jx17 et20 will JUST fit. This is my experience with style 32s 17s are too big imho. 16s are just right.

The coolest rat I have ever seen

Interested in Hirschmann antenna if it has got one. Also, rear parcel shelf speakers if of the premium sort.

I have a 525ee e28. M20 engine. Reasonably efficient for its age - 10l/100km in city. Mine is NZ new. Good to work on. Admittedly I worry about rust and only take it out in fair weather. You'll need to find a nice example that's been looked after.

With warrant, rego etc it would surly fetch upwards of 15K in my opinion.

Can't stop thinking about Richard Pryor/ Daddy Rich and the Pointer Sisters arriving at the Car Wash. I wish one could have sound layovers on trademe listings...

I spotted the car last Saturday. It turned into the grounds of a local church, probably collecting the tithe. Made the mistake to directly look at it. My eyes are still sore and I now frequently wake up at nights in a panic... Will need to see a shrink - that'll set me back $$$.

To go with the earlier post - I would be interested in a well presented 524td, e28, opalgreen or bronzit. Unobtanium here, I keep dreaming...

This should be put back in order and not parted.

Only BP98 will do.

I wanted to have a go with clay bars but never used them before. Is it similar to very fine wet sanding (like 2000+ grit)?
-
Do you know who has done the conversion? Graeme at GAC?

From my experience it is usually a faulty pump. Easy fix. Pull the tank out while you are at it and check for any cracks / deterioration around bottom. Secondly, check the relay in the fuse box.
