  1. Didn't want to upset Luke (in reality, actually just missed bidding on it). I had mine welded not long ago. It stopped the leak but now sits slightly higher in the mount. If anyone has another one lying around, in good condition and with sensor hole, I am interested.
  2. Spotted this tucked away in a corner in Newmarket.
  3. Believe the cats used on m3's are high flow (at least on e30m3) and incredibly efficient. I would not think a de-cat would make too much of a difference in performance.
  4. Saw PF5017 again this morning on Aviemore Drive. White 4 door e30 nicely presented. Wheels of Alpina fashion but haven't got close enough yet to see properly. Anyone on here?
  5. Thanks. Have requested at my local friendly library. Not into staring at a screen all day. Probably got close to 50 library books at home at any one time - love books. Love the book sales too. Great bargains to be found.
  6. Have the hotwheels 2002's and m3 e30's in various colours. Also have the bburago 1993 e36 m3 gtr and 2000 z8 in kitset. Z8 still to be assembled. Also have matching sales brochure for the z8.
  7. Interesting. I thought they came off the same line. Thought to have seen a picture of an m3 followed by a standard e30 somewhere. Didn't know they had a special crew working on them either.
  8. The e30 m3 was made on same production line along the 'normal' e30. Probably because of the relatively large numbers produced / popularity. In regards to M7 - there was the SA e23 745i which was powered by the M designed 24 valve M88. One example was at the NZFMR 2012.
  9. I think it is Lionel Rogers car. Plate is not right though.
  10. A world famous duck in New Zealand:
  11. Factory lowered and has tools set and spare tyre ready in boot...
  12. Thought the first of each model gets stored away in Munich?
  13. Had this sitting around for years. Seat is a little torn from memory (can't check right now as it is buried under other stuff). Backrest is ok. Pattern as below. Pick up Auckland East. Suits sedan. Free or giveth ye a six pack if you feel the Yule.
  14. Silver 3.0 CSI at top of Botany Road just now
  15. Swann are a good bunch. They usually ask for a few pictures along with a basic valuation (like from a mechanic). Give them a buzz.
  16. Thanks - learnt something new today. Stuck in the 80's.
  17. My 2c... Remember that the oil light / sensor actually measures oil pressure, hence if it lights up it should be checked and rectified immediately to avoid larger issues.
  18. There was a red Alfa in racing liverage sitting in the grass just after the bridge on Pakuranga Highway. Yellow plate. Front air ducting missing. What's up with that?
  19. I am trying to properly dispose a couple of old BBQ LPG bottles. Where to take them? (I have acquired them along with a friendly donation of an old BBQ but want to get rid of them now - manufactured 1987) I have also been hoarding our used dry cell batteries (9V, AAA, AA, etc) with the intention of taking them to the haz mobile. Just learnt that this is no longer operating (and I can appreciate why). Further research (council website) recommends to just put it into general waste ending up in landfill. Apparently modern manufacturing processes greatly reduce the toxic properties of batteries. Still, coming from Europe originally, I find it hard to digest just dumping them into the bin. Does no one recycle them at all in NZ?
  20. Wow - the e60's really come down in price now. E39's would almost be similar in price, no?
