I think the price is mainly due to the low mileage...

They had either one of two Getrag 265 5-speed gearboxes. US models received an overdrive transmission while European models were outfitted with a dogleg version, with first gear being down and to the left, and fifth gear being a direct 1:1 ratio

Spotted Amber Leigh today going north on SH1, just before Greville Road...

Looking for stuff around the house to flock off on TM --> want to get the new Volvo L350F set.

I somehow dread the day when they are tall enough to reach my sets

Have used them for years. No claim experience but very pleasant to deal with. The people I have been dealing with there are into classic cars themselves. Full cover includes glass (mirrors, widescreen, headlights and foggies too I believe). You can get a salvage right extension too. Further discount for additional cars. Yay!

Will these fit on the rear of my e36 m3?
C-130 Hercules replied to handgrenade's topic in Wheels & Tyres
Not sure - but funnily enough been looking at same site for new wheels on the e28... -
I am looking for a pair of stock e28 rear springs. Got anything?

I think I saw you going down the motorway a couple of weekends ago. Was towing a trailer in the e28.

7-8 litre is pushing it. I used to get about 900+km out of a tank per week (80l tank). 180km commuting per day mainly on the Autobahn going at an average of 130km/h (otherwise becomes uneconomical). That was in a sedan. Love the sound. Not as good as the M21 though an also no pre-glow ritual .

Again seen the dark brown, maroon e30 coupe PFL at botany junction last night. Very tidy. Plate starts with MT.

Didn't want to upset Luke (in reality, actually just missed bidding on it). I had mine welded not long ago. It stopped the leak but now sits slightly higher in the mount. If anyone has another one lying around, in good condition and with sensor hole, I am interested.

Someone got that for a steal!

Spotted this tucked away in a corner in Newmarket.

Removing cat on E36 M3 3.0 ?
C-130 Hercules replied to Beeker2's topic in Forced Induction & Performance Tuning
Believe the cats used on m3's are high flow (at least on e30m3) and incredibly efficient. I would not think a de-cat would make too much of a difference in performance. -
FREE - Bathroom mirrors (2 x old 1 x new) - GONE!

Where is pick up from? -
Saw PF5017 again this morning on Aviemore Drive. White 4 door e30 nicely presented. Wheels of Alpina fashion but haven't got close enough yet to see properly. Anyone on here?

Thanks. Have requested at my local friendly library. Not into staring at a screen all day. Probably got close to 50 library books at home at any one time - love books. Love the book sales too. Great bargains to be found.

Too bad they are not 16"

Have the hotwheels 2002's and m3 e30's in various colours. Also have the bburago 1993 e36 m3 gtr and 2000 z8 in kitset. Z8 still to be assembled. Also have matching sales brochure for the z8.

Interesting. I thought they came off the same line. Thought to have seen a picture of an m3 followed by a standard e30 somewhere. Didn't know they had a special crew working on them either.
-
The e30 m3 was made on same production line along the 'normal' e30. Probably because of the relatively large numbers produced / popularity. In regards to M7 - there was the SA e23 745i which was powered by the M designed 24 valve M88. One example was at the NZFMR 2012.

I think it is Lionel Rogers car. Plate is not right though.
