WTB: Land Rover 109 ex NZ Army (series III)

Thanks! I am keeping eyes on trademe. I'll come through for parts if I need to in the future. Cheers, Julian -
I commute daily on a Avanti Solo ss. It's a workhorse and nothing like the flash stuff on here.

Just in case someone on here got one for sale or knows one for sale. Looking for very tidy example with roof rack, long wheelbase (109").
-
Yes it's in the front.

Suggest you bolt them to the pallet and then put a layer of cardboard around before you wrap it in foil. Worked for me last time.

I think you should be able to. I had a screen replaced through smith+smith. First replacement was a Chinese make which had a manufacturing fault in the rain sensor area. They then swapped the glass with an Oem and everything was fine. The first screen was only used as no other screen was available at the time. So, maybe they can order in if not in stock and you can wait.

When did this happen? Just rode past there this evening. All cleaned up, fence fixed, and billboard changed.

Orange 1M (PSH) on Carbine Road just now. Nice.

Yes, wouldn't expect anything else. WWW was developed by the US military after all, no?

where to get guards rolled?
C-130 Hercules replied to danutt's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Don't roll your guards. BMW steel very hard, it will crack the paint. To do it properly would require a thorough paint job afterwards. My 2¢. -
Would you be able to upload a picture of it? Where abouts is pick up?

Hi all Selling as I have decided not to use them. Please note slight imperfection in print (that's how I received them) - otherwise in top condition. $40 shipped for Bimmersportlers. Image link to Germanplates.com: http://www.germanplates.com/images/bmwframe.jpg Julian

Disagree. Keep it original. Don't get me wrong - I like the result but think it is better done with a couple average e21s which would otherwise be lost to the scrapyard.

Sports/luxury car hire in germany
C-130 Hercules replied to BreakMyWindow's topic in General Discussion
Suggest you check prominent car hire companies such as SIXT, HERTZ, AVIS. They usually also hire out top end at a price. However, you should find that there are quite nice latest model middle class cars at reasonable rates which would be very adequate to enjoy the Autobahnen. One advice, don't do there what most do here, that is staying put unnecessarily in the fast lane. -
Totally agree. Leave them as they are. They are meant to be LHD for many reason some outlined above. No issues driving on the left. Easy parking, great visibility.

Keen if still available next month. It's houndstooth cloth right?

Hey Jase fair price - don't budge. I wouldn't part with mine for any less. The only thing missing is the HCS... Julian
