  5. Give Brett a call from Berton Automotive: 441-2142 and ask him.
  6. Talk to MLM can get him to make a system similar to his, it bolts up using the two front seat rail bolts. That way it's removable as they can get in the way of day to day life depending where you put them. Any fabrication shop should be able to make you a mounting system.
  7. Yeah i had someone key the 205 when i was getting a drink in a supermarket and watched a kid pushing a shopping trolley push the trolley into the rear bumper hard enough to remove the paint and remove some of the plastic, the mom didn't even stop to see the damage which was clear as day - i had just painted the bumpers black and there was a nice lovely 50mm long gouge in the bumper.
  8. Who do you have it insured with? I'm with Classic Cover and when it's not in competition i have glass cover and it doesn't effect my insurance claims stuff. Could be worth checking so you could get your install free, or save your spare screen for if you need to replace it from competition damage.

  10. Could be a good time to de-loom the car... My friend saved over 7kg in unrequired wiring from his mirage. Find a good wiring diagram and just spend some time looking and understanding it before you start, then go for it.
  11. This is scary... http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?s...=123336&hl= Ok... These where glued to the road in various places. The road was known for people driving quicker than the speed limit A Sapphire Cosworth apparently hit one or more, and the result was this: One guy dead, one paralysed, one or two severely injured
  12. it's a combination of both improved public transport and also improved motorway systems. there needs to massive improvements in things like access to the cbd to the shore, if they made a second layer to the harbour bridge for cycle/foot traffic i know i personally would look at biking to work. Every thing in NZ is half-assed , tunnel north wtf single lane? Half the motorway through vic park underground half above ground??? Not until they decide to actually invest in doing something properly even tho it might cost more but will facilitate the needs of the country for the 20+ years nothing will change... Lack of future proofing...

  18. Do you have much sound deadening to remove still? Grab some dry ice pellets leave it on the sound deadening for 10min or so then hit it with a rubber mallet. Makes life much easier. Tacho - Have you checked your fuses? Speedo - is it mechanical or electronic?
  19. Thats one of the SWRC or S2000 or Super 2000 what ever you want to call it cars. Its not just the Italian Rally Championship...
  20. I"d love Gronholm to come back. I still think he's a better driver than Loeb, i justify that by saying the Citroens have been far far superior cars to what the competition have had. I think it's was fairly eveident when Solberg came back with a 4 year old car and was competitive - if that had been a Ford or a Subbie it wouldn't have had a showing at all.
