It doesn't need to read the amount of oxygen coming out, it reads the oxygen proportion of the exhaust gasses. so it can work fine on just 3 cylinders, assuming the entire engine is working perfectly. I would do as suggested, bung both holes and whack one downstream. also, do not bother buying a used one (saw your wtb thread) they don't usually survive being removed and it's not really worth it to save $50.

Hella Evo-XR are only avalible in LHD, so they're no good for us over here. Unless you wanted to flip the masks, which then makes them an even longer install. You'd have to work something else out using the ones that are avalible in RHD format. (or get factory HID's)

I did an electric fan conversion on my E34. Worth it. use a large 12v fan from TradeMe or similar E39 pusher would work too, and a thermo switch from a 318i a 80/88 degree one. Don't do this

I gave it a go, but couldn't get it to fill correctly. as you fill them from underside. Most tranny shops have the correct tools to do this without much issue. I'd just pay someone to do it for peace of mind. it also needs to be at 20 degrees to be filled. Filling them is a right pain haha.

My HTC One, about 2 months into ownership the Earpeice failed. So annoyed, I returned it two days later they had a whole new handset for me to take home And HTC are upping their game a lot with updates (4.4.2 came out a wee while ago), and quality of handsets. The One is 10fold better than anything they have released previously. Unforunately the only high end HTC we get here is the One from over a year ago. Not worth buying, abeit is a much nicer feeling phone that just about anything else being unibody aluminium (milled from a single peice, weighted so it always falls on it's back) and now HTC USA is offering free screen replacements if you drop your One, hopefully HTC NZ picks up something like that. sh*t that sounds fanboyous.

Yeah but your E34 is based in the 80s when wood grain was cool. I don't think too many modern cars should have the wood.... perhaps the more luxury orientated cars it would still work (like a Rolls) but the BMW wood grain on the new models really just looks tacky.

Tbh, just change the battery in the 4. Windows phone is very cool, I got my parents windows phones. I kind of miss just how to the point it is, everything you want for communications is there, no flappy bird or any of the bullshit! Cheap windows phones are quite good for value also, mum has a Lumia 520, it was $200. dad has an Ascend W1. and they run smooth and have few issues. But I think changing the battery in the 4 is going to be the best idea.
