I lubricate mine regularly. it works extremely well. the worst thing is not using them. oh and they unsycronise themselves often and require constant re-syncs

It will, but will be tilted 10~ degrees and you'll have to make a modified gearbox crossmember. (and shift linkage) However, since it's got a Getrag 240, you could swap it or trade it or buy a Getrag240 for an M40 and that will fit perfectly using an m20 flywheel & Driveshaft. I think you may need the m40 crossmember, quite a few have used the m40 g240 on an M5x.

I have one in Dunedin, scruffyish body interior, but good running gear. on 18" wheels nz new, very well maintained.. twin sunroofs. It would really suit someone as a project.

Have come accross a decent running M20B25 (auto) in an 86 325i. Guy isn't after much for it, but I have to remove it myself - have heard it running and driven the car (has had a frontal accident) no radiator damage or anything like that. Basically most of the car is there, stuffed leather interior. ect. Have to remove the engine myself if anyone is interested in it.
