What's the going rate for one? for a 1992 525i M50 B25 (if it makes a difference)
-
Any good paint shop will be able to make it for you. Costs like $30 dollars for an aerosol can.
-
park it in a garage, wind down all the windows... stick a bug bomb in the garage.
-
Engine start spray? ahh that's the one! I tried using WD-40 it made a slightly different noise, but. placebo effect ect ect. Cheers guys! I reckon it's the bitch pipe that's under the intake manifold that goes into the ICV.

Fixed up the drivers door, wasn't adjusted properly. sh*t some of the things wrong with this car are so trivial it's not funny. Still trying to track down the vac leak, Need an unbiased mechanic friend that won't go "f**king sh*t bmw buy a toyota ect ect" and just chillin' with little brother
-
Was going to get used today but found water all over the passengers seat, all over the floor.... Passenger side drain was absolutely clogged to f**k. jammed the air jet with some tape down the hole, and OOZE comes out. - Cool. Intake boot has a whole heap of cracks in it, taping them up is helping with idle. The AC Compressor randomly engages/disengages even if the AC is turned off.... for no reason...
-
I'm thinking either or, the boot is starting to split, some of the vac hoses have tape on them around the ends.. so might just go through it all and see

iForces uploader resize only let me choose 25%, 50% and 75% clearly 75% isn't enough I dunno how to resize images using a mac... they are not easier to use contrary to popular culture/ Can I put the big kidneys on :0 It's my second BMW. Just gave it a quick wash and had a look around for things... found the battery... Under the rear seat :S checked out some wiring, and the head unit wiring hasn't been bastardized, even though the head unit sorta just flops around in a hole. (bit like taking a girl home on a Saturday night) Need to sort a few things. - f**kING IDLE BRRM BRRM BRRM BRRM BRRM DERP DEPR DERP. - Rear lock actuator - Rear Wiper - Fix Drivers door switch (interior light and door warning flash randomly) - Coolant sensor (COOLANT LEVEL) - Washer Sensor (WASHER LEVEL LOW) - Brake sensors? (Probably not even installed hahahah) - Headlight, has a hole in it bruv. -Piss angled steering wheel when straight - Boot glass panel smacks you in the face if you try and leave it up. - Bonnet gas rams and just give the rest of it a damn good clean. Then eventually one day which I'll never get. (or I see a mean deal on trademe) some new wheels.. but the staggered bottlecap things are okay I guess

So I've finally got another one! It's a 1992 525i Touring, Twin Sunroofs (that don't leak) NZ New. found it on the side of the road, managed to score it cheap. Have a few things to do, needs a new headlight, one of the lock actuators don't work, it idles funny. but it pulls hard, trans shifts smooth. I'm pretty stoaked, the AC even works! Fixed

I think I paid $169~+GST and like 25 bucks for shipping on mine :S pays to shop around brah.

You can buy shorter koni's if you don't already have them. I bought the standard length ones and they are fine with a slightly lower car.
-
I would assume an M20B20 would weigh more or less the same as a B25? I changed to 51mm struts because I could, and I got them with lowering springs. Koni adjustable make everything good. also makes it easy so you can have all your struts made up properly, painted, tidied etc ad then just bang them in, in a few hours.

I'm not sure how you'd even break that Polaris Ranger anyway... :S Maybe if you roll it.

you can get led angle eyes from dealextreme.com

antil33t replied to _ethrty-Andy_'s topic in Off-Topic
I can prescribe copious amounts of FIRE to deal with old computers. -
you could swap your fuelgauge and speedo into your new cluster body. I've done that. swapped my fuel gauge and speedo into a VDO cluster, from a 4pot. need to swap coderchip too.

Serviio running on a Server upstairs, with 10TB of storage.. Serviio works on my two flatmates Sony TVs, and XBoxes... Simultaniously... obviously the limit is on how good your network/server is. all it is is a dualcore AMD.. so it's not that overpowered.. and three of us were pulling HD movies off it at once. (we have Gigabit, but I doubt the TV's have it) and a Samsung TV with networking. freeview ect ect built in. Will Pass 5.1 Sound via the optical port on the TV to my amp for surround. my Media PC is just some random pos I've made up from bits... has a USB tuner for Freeview HD, but if you had two identical ones, or a dual tuner card you could record/watch like expensive PVR's ect. but it's upstairs cause' the TV Upstairs isn't freeview built in.

I hear wurth penetrating lubricant stuff is better than wd40/crc ect. Maybe freeze spray?
