FOR SALE all prices are ONO. I'm not to sure on the current value of parts nowadays so make an offer, everything has to go! Prefer pickup in Wellington, but possibly can ship items. TechII rear bumper apron - fiberglass, fits well, no cracks or paint chips $300 PFL E30 single mass lightened flywheel, clutch, PP and matching starter motor. Clutch has heaps of life left in it, nice and soft feel. Flywheel to suit PFL with sensors in gearbox, but still will work on FL. $150.00 PFL Alpina heckspolier. Has part numbers etc. Dusty and fading a bit. Doesn't come with rusty boot lid. $180.00 PM, reply in this thread or text/call 0276965789 Moving to Australia in a month or so -
Actually legit, who wants to go halves? PM me

ok so i have a bit of a frankenstein e30 m20 setup going on and have a few queries about with what i'm mix and matching. the car is NZ new PFL and i'm running a rebuilt FL engine, no problems there it's just the engine management side of things. the motronic 1.3 engine loom is from a jap and has the extra plugs for o2 sensor and the charcoal canister. o2 sensor i've blanked off using the proper bmw blanking plug, but the charcoal canister plug is just chillin out unplugged as it is not being used, no real problems there either. i would like to keep the loom looking tidy and complete so if anyone has a blanking plug for that to finish it off please. the main worry is with the ecu. if i mate a jap ecu to this it will have the programming for the o2 sensor and charcoal canister and god knows what else. the car is gonna get a remap from Gavin at Hi-Velocity so will he be able to delete this function? and obviously he'll fine tune the fuel air maps. or would i be better off getting the ecu from a NZ, SA or English FL 325i? there is also the debate about using an automatic ecu. so which will be the best/easiest for this combination? and are there any curve balls you think i may have missed. -
what $90 worth of bolts looks like. snapped a front subframe bolt, luckily managed to get it out of the chassis rail. frightened by the condition of them so ordered 4 new ones and also 4 new ones to suit the control arm brackets.

Am I right as to say that your front passenger side directional tire is around the wrong way? Not hating, just pointing out for safety reasons.

Really dumb question but is there an o-ring seal for an e30 FL dipstick tube into the block? I've pulled out a PFL one with no o-ring., just metal to metal, grease and dust holding it in. Was a prick to get out. http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=...hg=11&fg=10 or http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=...hg=11&fg=10

Hey, here’s a list with a bunch of things I am in need of to finish putting my e30 back together. It’s coming up to the final stages. At the moment this thread is WTB and for information but I’ll update it with some WTS goodies later in the week. Ruthless Summer Clean in my garage starts now! Interested in finding a write up on a PFL to FL head light conversion, I’ve been trawling/trolling the web but can’t find anything. Obviously I don’t know where to look. I think I remember Ray at HellBM offers this service? WTB information. Also another write up on a good DIY, (that someone has used), to rebuild a med-case LSD. WTB E30 race series progressive kings lowering springs http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=442789 If you would, send me a PM what you have and how much for. Thank

would love to hear from the lads who have done this stroker with suggestions on which type of injector to use. will you get away with using the stardard e30 325i injectors on standard ecu map or go towards bigger m30 or m50 injector that are higher flowing and get the ecu flashed/orwhateveryoudo

Have a similar problem with my e30. It never counted the miles, so one day I stripped the cluster apart and found the plastic gears that turn the numbers over had been tampered with as if someone had tried winding it back. I still haven't replaced it though

is the e30 worth getting repaired after the latest crash?
flake replied to nzhaystack's topic in Maintenance
Have a look in the engine bay at the strut towers and also the chassie rails to make sure you havent bent the actual body. Engine hasn't ripped off it's mounts has it? Wouldn't be much in parts to fix it if the body is straight. Control arm, tie rod, complete strut, maybe swaybar, and of course another wheel. Really need more detailed photos -
