well. wow. that is a tonne of miles, how has the costs been thus far? as far as suspension and drivetrain bits go? (50 odd k kms in 10 months is no mean feat)

if it is an accident, just get it to your insurance company. it would be well worth your time.

you can do them online now, it covers you quite completely, saying that you have disposed of the car from the date stated and you'd need the buyer's address and details, which is good.

I don't know guys, insurance will be impossible on this car, seeing as the VIN and engine don't match, say if the engine bay caught fire, would they replace the engine for a like engine or the genuine unit?. Saw the car in the flesh today, smells like it had been flooded(drying out well though), sideskirts are loose, vaders are dirty as. a few bits of trim are missing. thought it would be good for parts at least, but it would be a project for someone with 8k burning a hole in his/her pocket and then some.

I suppose the insurers would be happy to insure the car as a 325i?

seems like they have uploaded an engine bay picture. looks strange with the M50 in it.
