a BMW diesel is the best diesel you can buy. TORQUES. ultimate oildrinking machine. and why the hell not. the M550D is faster than the M5 in some aspects, and is more tractable. X5 M50d, is PHENOMENAL. Don't knock it until you try it, dudes.

... I have just had an accident with the e34 touring, no panel damage, just rims and tyre damage, but i need to have the shafts and brakes etc looked at. where can I have the car looked at and diagnosed/repaired? do I need to get it reviewed by my insurance provider? Would appreciate a quick reponse please guys... the car is out in Avondale, any suitable repairers here? EDIT:- insurance is going to review it. :sigh:

^^ ... I got a 9.0l/100kms with my 525iT.... so I think you got a good result. ^ a turbo rebuild does wonders! (at least for my old Subie.) get those bearings looked at if you feel difficulty spoolinh.

The Alpina is in many ways a better Z8 than BMW's rendition, due to the fact they understood its suited to being a grand tourer. As opposed to an all out sports car.

Darren, if possible, find a place that has easy access to public transport. but the area you speak of is huge and central, I can only wish you luck in finding places to stay.

^ BAM! accidents increase by tenfold due to nobody looking at the road. Speed limits that allow no room to overtake are fallacious.

Individual, perhaps. Not Motorsport.

^ you may be right about that, individual options do not turn up. The followiong is a VIN datasheet for an individual model from singapore. http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bg93971.pdf -
man I love kit sets... though everyone I have built in the past have been sold off, when I left the country.
