mr2low, swap internals. = happy camper. -
^^ The kit is a deal breaker for me. either standard or full blown aftermarket kit please.
-
Not BMW. but gorgeous all the same. IMA356 Iron Oxide Porsche 356B spotten turning from Rosebank Rd onto Ash St. Also Prussian Blue 944 driving down rosebank road, almost a daily driver.
-
^ Yes. Unless the sedan has fold down seats.
-
Yeah Ewan, Qubes car is far superior.
-
Egads! would you have got the F11 m5 if it existed? hah! Nice one!
-
I found something amusing here --> http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/525i/auction-648648550.htm a real twin for the e34... hmmm Anything I should look out for, being a Jpn import?
-
check your float on the sensor. My float disengaged from the sensor... maybe cleaning the contacts would be a good idea?
-
This car would be best with Style 2s and the Tii engine

E46 M3 - search parameters: BMW , 2001 - 2005, Coupe, list alphabetically. There should be 8 coupes and about 7-8 convertibles available on trade me

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/2002/auction-647908916.htm Is this a Baur Cabrio? also, Italy? I was under the impression Italy did away with RHD cars in the 50s.

I wonder how much chassis strengthening would it need to take a Hi Po Nissan/toyota v8?
-
horizontal dials. full ihka system. when I had it out, the car was getting proper heat. slight coolant scent then. now, I have the core out, and no obvious signs of leakage or damage in the chamber, so i will just clean it all up, replace the perished foam seals (what would you recommend getting) and put it back together.

O-rings? more like square section rings. Soon to be fixed! here's hoping the generic ones would fit right.

W211 E-diesels vs E60 5-diesel vs XC70 diesel
lord_jagganath replied to lord_jagganath's topic in Other European Cars
^ haha! it reminds me fondly of my first E34, grey sports seats too. So yep, I love the interior. -
Welcome! The prices usually are indicative of what the trader paid at auction in Japan or of how desperate they feel. test drive a few, from varying ends of the price spectrum and see which feels "right".

^ yes, I concur, 20k is where it has to be, though, there was a 530d that was selling for about sub 15k but it was a sedan. as for that touring you pointed out, I have it in my post prior and had been in touch with the seller in the past(from before I got the e34 and when they were asking 22k). I am eager to get back to them soon. let's see how it pans out. -
looks titan silber in some lighting angles. gotta love Sil II as a colour. a fluid animal it is... can't wait for HOT summer shots.
-
actually, what would Ray say he did? would it have been rebodying the 540is? or converting the 540iA into a manual?
-
M62B44. gosh I would love this engine to go into the touring .... but mountings.... :sigh:

like this. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/530d/auction-638659100.htm the mileage does worry me though. Hoping it stays unsold until I manage to sell my Tiida. -

^ nice one! I was looking at that , though it is far to travel. I suppose no harm checking it out. But as I said, I am in no hurry, just waiting for the right one to roll by, and would prefer a diesel too.
