W211 E-diesels vs E60 5-diesel vs XC70 diesel
lord_jagganath replied to lord_jagganath's topic in Other European Cars
^ahah! no sense changing then, the tiida will have to do, even if it is uncomfortable for my frame. oh well, driving the E34 touring to work everyday then. -
So misadvertising right there .... he cannot call it an iS.... I'd say the man is being dodgy.

W211 E-diesels vs E60 5-diesel vs XC70 diesel

^ ah! makes sense, yes, it feels smaller to drive. ^^ would be doing 20k kms a year, 100 or so kms a day, driving to and from work. with occasional road trips. I have 10k (allowed) plus a 2005 Tiida for trade. so hoping for something at that range. Not essential, but desired. -
So you've put it on trade me, mate?
-
removed the heater core. O-rings? more like squaresectionrings. also.... found a few rubber pieces in the radiator. sh*t. must be from a sensor or something.

^ when you say tight, you mean exterior? and huge on the interior? I have to say my cousins E70 in oz feels tight inside. -
They could have perished due to minor parking lot dingers. my old E34 sedan went through 5-6 rear and front strips thanks to uv degradation and the motorcycle rider menace in S.E.Asia. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt.
-
^ do you think he'd do e34 m5 kits too?

16. Offers part payments and $200 per week after. 17. Single mum whom has just started work and needs a reliable knockabout, doesn't show up.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/mercedesbenz/300td/auction-646433650.htm AAAAAAA! W124 DIESEL VAN. If it were not in Darfiled, I would have got it. Maybe.

Och vey! the car is amazing! I would love it, but too many cars clutter my driveway.
-
it's going to look superb once fitted.
-
possible. also, the key would have the original stock map .. i think.
-
it's just a key to show ownership of the remap.
-
Put a new Badge on the bonnet. the old one had enamel flaking from road scoria.
-
^^ thats the one. We had to do a mock up of a pump from plastic tubing, so we started with a smooth surface, if you already have texture, it is far easier.

Beautiful work!. Achieving the ferrari matt colour is a true challenge, as you will have to get the "cast" look from the paint alone. we have tried to use a matt silver sprayed at a 1.5x recommended distance so you would get a little orange peel. only then you use the red enamel. achieved the "cast metal effect" after 4-5 tins of paint. (using auto enamel, not spray paint.)

lord_jagganath replied to Phil-540i's topic in TradeMe discussions
That was a rather dick move, they must have realised the reserve was too low. $4250. -
^ the most refined of the lot imo.
