Isn't there a Merc specialist on Hobson street? (forgot the name but it's on the right hand side, the side that's opposite from Sky City)

Telcommunications industry will never sorts itself out. Government will not step in mainly because Telecom (and Voda) are some of the biggest employer in the country. Also, they ARE the economy (to a certain extent). Used to work for Telecom Mobile, the technology ain't bad, just don't have enough great phones in the market. They stomp themselve in the foot by having have to Tele-permit every model that goes into the network. Lead time is HUGE, we are buying what essentially a run-out model in the states. (With the exception of the PDA Harrier and Apache) Voda, well, I don't know where to begin. I have more dropped calls and more failed dail attempts compare to Telecom027. Voice quality not as great and data transmission is not as fast either. (I own mobile data-cards on both networks) However, there are more phones to choose from (namely imported ones) but there're no regulation (or impossible to) to gaurantee its compatibility with the Vodafone's service. (Perfect example, Sony Ericsson V800, all the not-black colour variants cannot do Vodafone Live video downloads!) For those who don't know, Telecom027 does have world-wide roaming for ALL non-prepay customers. You just need to call them at least 1 week to arrange a GSM loan phone to be delivered.

Nice car and I like those rims~ Lots of nice used cars in South Island I reckon Maybe lose those aerial for a shark-fin one and get a duck tail spoiler to sharpen it up a bit? M3 mirror won't hurt either! :thumb:

That little revving, could it be vacuum leak?

1. My 2 automatic cars does that too, I guess it's normal? 2. If the key doesn't work, they probably broken the pins inside the lock. Check with a lock smith to be sure. 3. Control Arm Bushing = Castor Rod Bushing, am I right? Some people suggest to use the M3 bushing in a non-M3 car can help handling and they last longer, in what way I don't know. Any expert on this one? 4. Not sure on this one, sorry.

It's not this one is it?? http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/auction...0865&key=226811 Has the car has accident before do you know? I havn't heard of steering rack need replacing unless it's been in accident. (Experts out there, correct me if I am wrong) If you are serious for the car, get a specialist/dealer pre-purcahse inspection (BMWorkshop, Jerry Clayton and the likes) to look through that. Should be around $100-150.

HTC Apache is your only choice if you think Harrier is too big AND you want to stick with Telecom. Otherwise, Treo 650 (available for both Telecom and Voda version) is not bad if you are a Palm user.

Mine done without any trouble. For the windows auto dropping when you open the dooor, just pull the fuse AFTER you close all door. Avoid car parks for a few days because it look like a retard to open the door to get the entry ticket. To remove rear windows, remove B and C piller, unbolt seatbelt and 4 more bolts behind it and remember NOT to drop the bolt. Then 2 more bolt on C piller, done.

There's a different version of the story for the same pix.... Some psycho dude found out his ex-wife is sleeping with another man and this M3 belongs to the new dude. You got the rest....

It's not the first time they do that to a smaller car. At least there're e46 M3, the "150i" 1-series and this. I wondered where on earth do they find all those M5 engines from. Must cost a fortune.

Recently, the Toronto Police Services board ran an e-mail forum (a question and answer exchange with the topic being "Community Policing.") One of the civilian email participants posed the following question: "I would like to know how it is possible for police officers to continually harass people and get away with it?" From the "other side" (the law enforcement side) Sgt Berezowski a cop with a sense of humor (or reality) replied: "First of all, let me tell you this...it's not easy. In Toronto we average one cop for every 600 people. Only about 60% of those cops are on general duty (or what you might refer to as "patrol") where we do most of our harassing. The rest are in non-harassing departments that do not allow them contact with the day-to-day innocents. And at any given moment, only one-fifth of the 60% patrollers are on duty and available for harassing people while the rest are off duty. So roughly, one cop is responsible for harassing about 5,000 residents. When you toss in the commercial, business, and tourist locations that attract people from other areas, sometimes you have a situation where a single cop is responsible for harassing 10,000 or more people a day. Now, your average ten-hour shift runs 36,000 seconds long. This gives a cop one second to harass a person, and then only three-fourths of a second to eat a donut AND then find a new person to harass. This is not an easy task. To be honest, most cops are not up to this challenge day in and day out. It is just too tiring. What we do is utilize some tools to help us narrow down those people which we can realistically harass. The tools available to us are as follows: PHONE: People will call us up and point out things that cause us to focus on a person for special harassment. "My neighbour is beating his wife" is a code phrase we often use. This means we'll come out and give some special harassment. Another popular one is, "There's a guy breaking into a house" or "So and so has a grow op." The harassment team is then put into action. CARS: We have special cops assigned to harass people who drive. They like to harass the drivers of fast cars, cars with no insurance or no driver licence and the like. It's lots of fun when you pick them out of traffic for nothing more obvious than running a red light. Sometimes you get to really heap the harassment on when you find they have drugs in the car, are drunk, or have a warrant. RUNNERS: Some people take off running just at the sight of a police officer. Nothing is quite as satisfying as running after them like a beagle on the scent of a bunny. When you catch them you can harass them for hours. STATUTES: When we don't have PHONE or CARS and have nothing better to do, there are actually books that give us ideas for reasons to harass folks. They are called "Statutes"; Criminal Codes, Motor Vehicle, Liquor Act, etc... They all spell out all sorts of things for which you can really mess with people. After you read the statute, you can just drive around for a while until you find someone violating one of these listed offences and harass them. Just last week I saw a guy smash a car window. Well, there's this book we have that says that's not allowed. That meant I got permission to harass this guy. It is a really cool system that we have set up, and it works pretty well. I seem to have a never-ending supply of folks to harass. And we get away with it. Why? Because for the good citizens who pay the tab, we keep the streets safe for them. Next time you are in my town, give me a single finger wave. That's another code word.

How often to service is all relative. I do mine every 10000km, even when the service indicator (SI) lights has 2 left. Just for the peace of mind. If you do mostly highway, you can get away with 15000km I'd say. Just as Kiwi535 said, they goes like OilService -> Inspect 1 -> OilService -> 1st Inspection 2 -> OilService -> Inspect 1 -> OilService -> 2nd Inspection 2 and repeat. This cycle covers around almost half the lifetime of the car. I did my Oil Service + some exhaust welding work at BMWorkshop for just under $250 last week.

Just trying to understanding here... do you mean the adjustment knob inside the car won't adjust the lights, or do you mean the screw on the light housing doesn't adjust the light? For the first one, can you hear motor noise trying to move the light?

yeh~ how else? That's the power of the Internet.
