saw a mint hellrot red E30 parked outside the ilam shops, across from BP. I couldn't tell the make of wheels but I've seen them before on here. Rego was DRF... looked mint as.

intermittent no longer works, I need a new wiper control unit that's located in the fuse box. Any in Chch? cheers. Ill try the usual wreckers if no luck here.
-
tightened up the power steering hose, mechanics have told me the hose has a leak but I'm pretty sure it's just the after market hose clamps not really doing their job. Might source some more heavy duty ones. After a tighten and a test so far so good.

I don't agree, prefer the originals

removed the makeshift drivers seat bolt, one of the threads have been ripped out, a new one will have to be welded in. How does that even happen? added to the list.

got WOF, sway bar came out again, on closer inspection the bracket has been bent. Stupid PO obviously drove over a rock or something.

True, you see the dark tints everywhere now. And my car isn't the most common in the world I've only seen another 3 or so around Chch streets in the past year. They would have no idea what they are suppose to look like. This reminds me. I always see it and forget to ask. A lot of new cars have a clear lights on one side and red on the other. like this Why?

when I got pulled over the cop didn't even notice. No mention when getting WOFs either.

Glass paint from Mitre Ten MEGA! does this V

nope, just the tweeters on those 2-way speakers. I also have some shitty fusions in the foot wells but they do almost nothing. The panasonics do a really good job when the head unit isn't trying to drive them too hard to produce bass.
-
a slightly more interesting video. Sorry for the lack of focus and length. Once the bass started I panicked and turned it down before the neighbors got angry. (that is about my normal listening volume)
-
These, haha They actually sound really good now the bass is being sent to the woofer. New speakers and head unit will be bought in good time.

yea, I had to actually shave a few sheaths off for it to fit neatly. They are in there properly, It's only exposing the wire because they are on an angle. I might steal some of my flat mates shrink tubing.
-
Cheers Guys, It's DONE! re blk320i: I know what you mean, but as you can see from the pics the wires would totally get in the way and it would also cover the majority of the vent areas (it's fan cooled) Plus, you can't see the wires unless you get in the boot After playing with the settings I can tell 500w is a stupid amount of power Short vid. Can't wait to crank it up during the day.

Carpet went on last night. Spent a couple of hours running the RCAs as well as installing the sub&. Should have it running tomorrow. Ill tidy everything up too, put my back seats back in

Rust is like cancer in some ways. In my opinion rust is a lot easier to cut out then cancer. At least you know you've cut out all the rust As has been said. cut it out, leave nothing behind.

parking as far away from where I need to be usually works for me. Except a lot of the time I come back and someone has parked right next to me with dozens more empty park surrounding my car

got to page 4, got bored. What does that tell you?
-
Last few steps. Modified the old terminals for my DVC Sub. Attached the supports. These are so it can sit hard up against the bulkhead. It sits very snug at the moment and will only get better when I carpet it. Last steps are to run the RCAs from the headunit, carpet the enlcosure and attach it to the vehicle.

I've been quoted $150 to change springs over. Did you pay to get it lowered in the 1st place? find someone with a trolley jack and some compressors and give it a crack yourself (read a manual)

amazing what a cut and polish can do after oxidization like that.
