Owner is a mate. He's not a member afaik.
-
Love the home made engine support "bar".
-
Any idea where Denny Hulmes M3 is? Is it still owned by the Jerry Clayton guys?
-
Can be much faster than the M3. There's a video somewhere of a remapped 330d out dragging a CSL.
-
Stunning. Those wheels are outrageous.
-
You'd have to say it's a better all round car, but there's something alluring about mashing the pedal on the V10 and peeling out from a stop...

I think essentially, we are on the same page, as this is what I was originally getting at. But i'd have the 18's, as I think they look better ( as well as the other benefits which come from the smaller rim ). But i'll disagree on your last comment re: the CSL being the only truly collectible E46. History will look very favorably on the lowly standard M3, it will be regarded as the greatest car of it's class.

That Nav unit is going to be a waste of time in the long run, and will look goofy sitting in the dash, being useless. I'd probably agree re: half leather. Prefer the LED lights in the 3.5's. Also as it's the "facelift", it will potentially be seen as more desirable. Also, didn't they get front strut braces?
-
Why do you disagree? I also should have stipulated it also needs to be a MY2003.5 or newer car.
-
It's car that only really seems comfortable going 7/10th's +. It's not at all happy pootling around town ( nor is the fuel consumption ). As with most of theses cars that you can pick up for cheap, you have to remember it was once a $200k+, high tech, flagship car, so expect repair bills to reflect that msrp.

A manual, E46 M3 on 18 inch rims with leather, air con and the standard radio, will be worth a fortune in the future.

"V6AUDI"... http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=v6audi

You sell it?
-
And the E30.
-
I've seen you up at Countdown a couple of times.

Thanks for the replies, i might give it a go. Although I don't have the greatest of patience... Now where's the best place to get a starter?
-
Is it as hard as the US forums make out, or have they got a different layout due to LHD? I need to replace mine, and if its easy "enough" to do myself, I'd rather take the money I'd spend on having someone else do it, and start buying quality tools.

They've got a kickass VW Kombi transporter in there at the moment.
-
Was thinking this.

I took my E30 Touring down to Graeme Hughes Panelbeaters on Barrys Point Road to have a look at. They said it would be about $600 + GST, and that was taking the paint down the A, B and C pillars to the crease line. I can't remember the blokes ( owners ) name ( it's not Graeme anymore ), but he was a good dude.

Selling a car, you're doing it wrong.
-
Pretty sure one of those should have worked.

It is genuine, but I don't know what parts it has. The guys owned it for yonks.
