Steel Grey E46 M3 sitting low on it's nutsack on factory 18's this morning. Looks good. Seen it around Northcote Point/ Birkenhead a few times.

Caught a dark colored E30 Touring out of the corner of my eye today in Wairau Valley. Was sitting low on what looked like Style 5's. Unfortunately I wasn't in my E30.

The one I got about a month ago was on trademe for a good couple of months, and also listed on here. I paid less than those 3 E46 tourings posted above. It just had a service yesterday, and apart from an oil leak ( oil filter gasket we reckon ), she's seems to be in mint condition.I also live on the shore...

Arn't you meant to stay away from the 4-banger E46's? They are a nightmare, no? I picked up a 2003 325i M-Sport Touring recently as a baby carrier. 150k's for a little over $10k. So far, so good.

Should have clarified, it'll be back on the road in about 6-months. So I guess its not really storing... Just a hibernation.

I've put the registration on hold for the E30 and am keeping it in the garage for the foreseeable future, whilst I get around to fixing/ replacing a whole bunch of stuff on it. Any tips for keeping it all kosher? I've disconnected the battery, am rotating the tyres every week ( will get around to getting some axle stands ), stuffed some rags in the exhaust and covered it in sheets/ blankets with the sunroof and a couple of windows cracked open. Anything else i'm forgetting? Anything else I need to do periodically? Should I have topped the tank up? From memory, there won't be much gas left in there.

Paypal is terrible to deal with if your a business, it's a very pro consumer service, so if you lodge the claim, ECS will want to do all they can to remedy, so paypal doesn't just take the money back. That becomes an even bigger headache for ECS.

But being a business which would ship/ post the majority of their products, good customer service, and trying to resolve a postal issue, should be expected, no?

In my case, they did supposedly check the relevant permits, which they blatantly didn't. Their response to me was full of utter drivel and bullshit. It was clear they had no idea what they were doing in formulating their response.

Same situation here, the front bumper was damaged from being towed backwards. The towing companies keep records of who requests the tows, but it's pretty hard to get the info from them. Surprisingly, I haven't heard back from the towing company after I responded, calling their response to me bullshit.

The building company has just reimbursed me the towing cost + extra for the dick around. I'll see what happens with the towing company, then go back to the building company.

Long story short, my car was illegally towed away ( and damaged under tow! ) from public land, at the behest of a building company, who were illegally operating outside the scope which their permit allowed. The building company seems to be making it right by me, but the towing company... jesus. The towing company would have known ( should have ) what they were doing was illegal, but did it anyway. An email response I got from them was bull of blatant bullshit. I will let my insurance company deal with the damage claim, i'm not expecting a good outcome... My question is, who do I lay a complaint against the towing company with? The cops don't want to know, and the Transport Agency ( who licence them ) don't seem to want to know either. They acted illegally, knew they were acting illegally, and did it anyway. They then basically extorted $280 from me for the privilege.

What are the specs on those CH wheels? I think it's what I want for my 325i.

Saw one parked the other day that had it's front wheels at full lock. That front wheel is laughably skinny, but the bits and bobs behind the wheel ( arms, hub etc ) looked almost pornographic.

Not always. It may be legal, but it's f**king idiotic.

As some have said, it's not the limits, it's the driving behaviour, which is unbelievably poor. People who underpass on the motorway should be pulled over and shot.
