Might be a belt idler bearing starting to go and just a coincidence it's happened with the timing on the new chain tensioner? I'd try pop the two belts off and start it up for a few seconds and see if that makes it disappear
-
M3 got new belts and idlers today, aswell as new front swaybar links and bushes. Rears still to be installed. Also figured out why my ac has stopped working over the last few weeks when I've actually needed it, no voltage to lock the clutch up. Hmmmm the hunt for perfection continues

I've got e38/9 offset wheels on with just a lip roll basicly. Most 3 series offsets are 35-45 depending on width were as most 5/7 series are 20 odd. But yea, a good more flush fitment on a 3er if you want to call it that. For info, 17x8 et20, 225/235-40 and 18x8/9 et20/22 215/225-40 amongst my hored of wheels

Two of the sets bill/bandit had listed, the staggered style 39 m3 wheels and the 17x8/9 acs Rennsports 3pc

Was $119 for trim, and 30 for new clips and screw capsAlso brought two new sets of wheels for reasons unknown.

An amazing delphin grey? Tech1 m325i on rs's parked up in Roslyn. Was too much traffic to slow for a pic so went round the round about twice to take a better look!

I've got ac Schnitzer/Remus on our e46 320i. Sounds pretty good. Also had one on my old 328 which I had a full exhaust made and sounded great on that

Found it! I've been looking for this post the last few days haha. Cheers for that, will make a huge different in both looks and me feeling safer
-
That was thru Paul at Milland, new clips and screws too.
-
Well there's probably a Burnt out one going cheap in Argentina!
-
Fitted new windscreen cowl. Looks much better! Also discovered the e46's dipstick is dissintergrating. Hmmm
-
I've got a m20b23 with loom/computer for 300$$$ if you want that? Plus $100 shipping

My electrical barrel fell off the back of the key barrel once. So had to use both a key to do steering lock and a screwdriver to start. Didn't look stolen at all! Cable ties fixed that issue tho!
-
Also had this brought up on my old 328i a few years ago. If they're factory that's fine, but if not and you're using them as park lights you can only have one at the outer most point per side. So only on the low beams. But the guy was like just unplug the centre ones and what you do after the wof is your call. So plugged them back in after
-
M3 of course! Apart from the e30 the others are good to go now that the 46 isn't spewing coolant. Cut down to 4 bmws now, times are tuff!
-
Haha hope so! Got it thru Paul at Milland so should be, also in box are belts, tentioners/idlers, sway bar bushes and links.

Did you not get my email full of pics Rob? Maybe that's why I didn't hear back from ya. She's a nz new, we're the second owners at 297xxx Kms, 1990 325ise, auto with sport select, full electrics, sunroof, cloth interior is 8.75/10. Has the odd mark and small hole, small crack in dash that's been semi repaired, but nothing to cry over. Has all the se goodies like map light mirror, full obc, steering wheel, skirts, fog lights, not in for wof due to cracked glass but have recovered in yellow tint for the time being. Engine has just had a replacement head that's had $700 + spent on it for hardness and crack testing, valves re faced, acid dipped, skimmed etc. Have all recipts, as well as for new cambelt, tentioner, gaskets, waterpump, t.stat, spark plugs, battery, drive shaft centre bearing. Runs, sounds and drives amazingly! Almost makes me wanna keep this and sell the e46 instead! Have standard wheels and a set of weaves for it as well for extra. Body is rust free, at the mo needs some dints taken out the drivers side but will hopefully get that sorted late this week or next week depending how busy panel beater is and tidy paint up. And also trying to find the trim for drivers door and a glove box latch.

Two steps forward, one step back on the e30. New battery, adjusted valve clearance so now she starts and purrs like a kitten. Buuuuttt... Went to change oil and filter and turns out the sump drain is stripped. Ugghhhh
-
Where did you aquire said nuts? Because I'm running the reinforcing plates on the front it gives it abit of a lift so don't have as much thread to screw the nuts on with and are only about half on. And are these tapered/sleeved so can get more turns on to the struts. Cheers
