  1. So anyone got one floating around that's not broken? Tia
  2. Yea I have a similar issue and the only bush/mounts I haven't replaced are engine and gearbox mounts. All the rest are less than 2000kms old. Backlash in diff probably needs done
  3. I've always used lithium spray grease for window clips, sunroofs, squeaky door hinges. Works a treat mate!
  4. Mmm chicken salt.... Well I fixed it today, was a coil pack on no.3 this time. So ordered a whole new set today which should stop the reoccurring issue
  5. Mmmmm tempting. What flavour chips are we talking here??
  6. E46 sh*t another coil (third time) on the missus drive home. And I was out of town so she had to walk home. God I'm sick of this car! And she won't accept the e30 325i se as a replacement which is even more disappointing
  7. I'd try Milland or euro Italian.
  8. Yes I've got a set, in great condition, were rebuilt about 3yrs ago would have maybe 5,000kms put on them since then, 17x8 et20, larger e39 centre bore
  9. Yea on Sanches one we're just welding the two parts together and removing the bolting areas to allow more room for exhaust for m52 swap.

    Boom.

Was looking at buying this a few years back when it was listed for 8-9k. Went looking for a e21 project but ended up with the m3 instead. Does look amazing in photos
  11. Nice! Might pay to check mine while the radiator shroud and fan are off at the mo.
  12. Testing and cleaning the solenoids is something I didn't do on mine. Any links to what's involved?

    Ex UK M5

Looks like a great example! Good to see you got it thru all the red tape with nzta.
  14. Wrong colour and no side airbags. Can't say I've seen an e36 with them before either
  15. Yes e36. E46 is hopefully similar pricing.
  16. Might be a belt idler bearing starting to go and just a coincidence it's happened with the timing on the new chain tensioner? I'd try pop the two belts off and start it up for a few seconds and see if that makes it disappear
  17. M3 got new belts and idlers today, aswell as new front swaybar links and bushes. Rears still to be installed. Also figured out why my ac has stopped working over the last few weeks when I've actually needed it, no voltage to lock the clutch up. Hmmmm the hunt for perfection continues
  18. I've got e38/9 offset wheels on with just a lip roll basicly. Most 3 series offsets are 35-45 depending on width were as most 5/7 series are 20 odd. But yea, a good more flush fitment on a 3er if you want to call it that. For info, 17x8 et20, 225/235-40 and 18x8/9 et20/22 215/225-40 amongst my hored of wheels
  19. Two of the sets bill/bandit had listed, the staggered style 39 m3 wheels and the 17x8/9 acs Rennsports 3pc
  20. Was $119 for trim, and 30 for new clips and screw capsAlso brought two new sets of wheels for reasons unknown.
  21. An amazing delphin grey? Tech1 m325i on rs's parked up in Roslyn. Was too much traffic to slow for a pic so went round the round about twice to take a better look!
  22. I've got ac Schnitzer/Remus on our e46 320i. Sounds pretty good. Also had one on my old 328 which I had a full exhaust made and sounded great on that
  23. Found it! I've been looking for this post the last few days haha. Cheers for that, will make a huge different in both looks and me feeling safer
