  3. Ohhh another Dunedin member, welcome. M3dakkar is local with a 3l sedan, super low Kms, asking around 18 I think, on trademe anyways. Most tend to be around the 12-15k mark, and probably look to spend a few more or general maintenance, bushes etc

  5. Replaced poor fitting front top hat nuts with correct sleeved capped nuts to suit m sport strut brace, put the factory wheels on for the winter, gave the bbs's a good clean ready for a polish up and wax/sealer ready for spring. But before that tried them on on the ute for something to do. Also making progress on the risers for the ltw wing.

  17. Had the same issue with boot latch in the m3 and the 328 sedan I used to have. I just got the latch rear mount welded up with a new, stronger piece and had to get boot welded up aswel from cracking . Also broke my rad expansion line too at the 180' bend, just put hose and clamp on it for now. Might get a stainless/ copper one bent up to look classy. Also what's the idea behind the slots in the tie rods?

    Help ?

Common problem, usually caused by spark plugs past their use by date. Puts extra stress on coils to compensate dud plugs causing them to burn out. Also heard once one is replaced the new one will cause the next weakest to fail so better to do all, new plugs and good to go. Went through 3 in the e46 before I replaced them all, $600 later. Free second hand ones put it off a few months tho
  19. Replaced the leaking lower radiator hose on the e46. Then replaced the ac belt tensioner pully and engine mounts in the m3. Fun times doing the drivers side!
  20. We do all the above stuff. Either self monitored thru the app/internet or can be monitored by a station aswell. And yes westy works on any existing alarm system, where the phone line wires into the alarm unit, that goes to our unit instead, eliminating the need for a phone line. Can also use it to wire other inputs in and outputs that you can turn on/off by text message. Will have to find out what companies use it up there tho
  21. Nah, for solar pro, but they're all the same stuff. Apart from they make a solar air panel aswell for theirs.
