Soo, uhhhh, where did you find said splitter? German eBay?

Had the same issue with boot latch in the m3 and the 328 sedan I used to have. I just got the latch rear mount welded up with a new, stronger piece and had to get boot welded up aswel from cracking . Also broke my rad expansion line too at the 180' bend, just put hose and clamp on it for now. Might get a stainless/ copper one bent up to look classy. Also what's the idea behind the slots in the tie rods?

Common problem, usually caused by spark plugs past their use by date. Puts extra stress on coils to compensate dud plugs causing them to burn out. Also heard once one is replaced the new one will cause the next weakest to fail so better to do all, new plugs and good to go. Went through 3 in the e46 before I replaced them all, $600 later. Free second hand ones put it off a few months tho

Replaced the leaking lower radiator hose on the e46. Then replaced the ac belt tensioner pully and engine mounts in the m3. Fun times doing the drivers side!

We do all the above stuff. Either self monitored thru the app/internet or can be monitored by a station aswell. And yes westy works on any existing alarm system, where the phone line wires into the alarm unit, that goes to our unit instead, eliminating the need for a phone line. Can also use it to wire other inputs in and outputs that you can turn on/off by text message. Will have to find out what companies use it up there tho

Nah, for solar pro, but they're all the same stuff. Apart from they make a solar air panel aswell for theirs.

Ha I install the equviliant to hrv systems on occasion, seem to work well but each house is different. Also I do monitoring devices that use the radio network so no land line. Send me a pm if you want to know more and I'll see what I can sort for ya

Coming home late from work tired and hungry, dinners not cooked, try to cook said dinner, burn it. Give up, throw it out, have a beer, go to bed.

Interesting setup. Can't wait to see it in action

Should have said 2.5 years on and still not going. Atleast it has an engine and gearbox in it now. Just another 2.5 to get it running Was an occasional visitor of the forum probably 2 years before I was a member but yea, he's too busy playing farm simulator instead of working on the e30. Nothing but love sanch
-
Haha old sanch, almost 2.5 years and still not going! Maybe next years calendar hahaha

Put a door seal on the garage to stop leaves n sh*t from coming in. And glued the rubber floor mat back down in the hilux. And drive the M3! Whoo!

Got bored last night so had a few beers with a mate and removed, cleaned, and tested my vanos solenoids. The mesh filters were virtually non existent so removed them To prevent any further disintegration. All tested out fine so gave a good clean and re installed. So that's one job off the list
-
Looked at it while tidying up in the garage and thinking what I need to do to that I've half started. Haven't driven it since Easter either
-
Haha typical dirty south! Yea I was very tempted to buy it but guessing regd had lapsed if they were wanting plates and tags
-
So you're saying our nz new one owner factory as 325i se is worth more than people selling their "stanced" 318's for 5k?
-
By any chance is the abs unit missing because you brought that 540i on dirty south with the bung abs unit?
