Wish my missus would let me drive mine fast! She just complains that it's too bouncey and that she's starting to feel sick so it's fair to say she doesn't ride in the m much. Anyway welcome, nice looking car and good to hear it's been used properly

E36: Full suspension refresh - thoughts
euroriffic replied to Michael.'s topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Yea I found doing the rear of the m3 has made a big difference too. So much tighter since almost every bush was just starting to show signs of degrading. Was abit 1200 from memory for all bushes mounts and balljoints. -
Possably not evos but I've seen plenty 3l on trademe for around 12-14. Was an estriol blue evo vert for 14k that was tidy as and around 140km in otago area

And gets rattly as all buggery!!!

Sounds good, better get some!

Nice! Seems to be a few coming up for sale. Guess everyone's had their summer fun and sellng up

That sucks dude! Best bet would be to take it somewhere to get it scanned and see what the issue is. Could be anything from fuel pump, relay, ews, crank pos sensor, dirty fuel who knows. No point throwing parts at it on a hunch

My rc's arnt clear coated and only need to polish maybe once a month if that. And I only wash them with normal car wash then use miguires cleaner wax to protect them but have been told about some other stuff that looks like the ticket
-
FYI, cost me 100 to blast and powder coat all four wheels. Seems way easier. But this metallicizer, will that work on polished lips???
-
12? Really??? I paid less than that for mine and was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy tidier! and it's an evo , nz new with leather vaders
-
You'd be absolutely gutted! Sorry to hear.

Yea the normal style5s have the top of the bolt splined so you just hit them in and then nut on the back but these are for rs's and just take a 12 point 10mm deep socket

Ohwell let me know if you want his number or take some pics and send them through or go down and show him

E46 steptronic slipping? And now dropped a cylinder
euroriffic replied to euroriffic's topic in Maintenance
Yea gave integrity a call and said it could be low fluid. But just drove up to my olds and don't know if it was the same what the missus had but it dropped a cylinder and wouldn't rev over 4k or change gear... Am hoping it's just a coil as it seems to be fine when cold but when it warm it starts missing. Had the same thing with a wrx I had. One thing after the other with this car -

It is sealed for life but will try find who can do it -
Sanch, aka Michael, aka Antil33t, has a set of staggered 18s that he may be selling... You should pm him

Ahh right. That sucks dude. If you need a panel beater I've got a mate who works for himself in behind the old Roslyn mill that does great work.

So the other day the missus said the car felt like it had no power as she was driving up the hill, tried to accelerate but wouldn't do anything for a few seconds but then came right. Then today as she was stopped on the hill at the lights then went to take off but all it did was rev up high. So let it go back to idle then try again and away it went. Had a search but was mostly for 2003-4 cars from US sites but mine is a 2001. Any ideas?

Does anyone else hate the footrest on manual e36s?
euroriffic replied to handgrenade's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Can't say it annoys me, I hardly use it -
