E46 steptronic slipping? And now dropped a cylinder
euroriffic replied to euroriffic's topic in Maintenance
It is sealed for life but will try find who can do it -
Sanch, aka Michael, aka Antil33t, has a set of staggered 18s that he may be selling... You should pm him

Ahh right. That sucks dude. If you need a panel beater I've got a mate who works for himself in behind the old Roslyn mill that does great work.

So the other day the missus said the car felt like it had no power as she was driving up the hill, tried to accelerate but wouldn't do anything for a few seconds but then came right. Then today as she was stopped on the hill at the lights then went to take off but all it did was rev up high. So let it go back to idle then try again and away it went. Had a search but was mostly for 2003-4 cars from US sites but mine is a 2001. Any ideas?

Does anyone else hate the footrest on manual e36s?
euroriffic replied to handgrenade's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Can't say it annoys me, I hardly use it -
Bolts showed up today. Bling bling!!

That was silly. Was awefully wet this morning. Got pics?

Would of thought they'd be the same as most e30s with the usual problem areas

18 button OBC + indicator stalk to match
euroriffic replied to handgrenade's topic in Electrical system
As long as you already have a 10 button one it's a piece of piss to put a 18 in (or was for me) just need to tap a few wires behind the dash. -
Nah body's all the same I believe with the e36s which is kinda suck, makes it hard to pick a genuine one to an m kitted one with a trademe m3 badge. And yes m3 touring would be tits! Mate in the uk might be having to find a doner car to send over

Sounds like a lot of pissing round to be honest. Turbo shop have a dyna pack dyno so they can apply load on and off if need be and all in house. That's what I'd be doing. I'd even just go in and have a chat with him. He's pretty good with most computers and making up looms and that for them -
Haha here's a sample pic for ya then with spacers and camber arms

Ahh right. Have they got a dyno? -
Haha thanks. It's probably due to my age, 26, as to why it's higher than the rest. Am with ami for house and contents so might try them and swap the missus car to them too for hopefully a good deal

Looks good with the splitters! Havnt lost mine yet but just scrape going in the drive. Glad I took my whole rear subframe to do the bushes. Once it was out took maybe 4-5hrs to do every one. Also the quickest way to do them is with a bit of steel tube just the right size and some big washers, a bit of high tensile threaded rod, some nuts and a rattle gun. Takes about 5 mins a side to "press" them out and same again going in. Less if they're poly bushes as do them by hand and can do it in car too
