  1. Got new lower control arms and new bushes pressed into the lollipops. Will fit tomorrow. Also ordered all necessary parts to make indicators into parks x2. Hopefully here next week
  2. I'm trying to convince my mate to buy it, but he's not quite sold on it and I'd get in trouble if I did haha
  3. I'd make sure it wasn't over filled first. Wait till it's dead cold and check with the markings on expansion tank and then with motor warmed up try park on a steep incline or jack front right up with engine running and heater on hot and check bleed valve for any air. That was the problem with my 328i when I did pump and thermostat the other month
  4. Good to see another dunedinite joining. Welcome aboard!
  5. Oyes, looks quite good. Might aswell do a diy, be rude not to haha. Might go for the old school Thule 555 design
  6. Hey all, I'm getting a set of roof rails made up for the touring and am wanting to run a fairing with it. Whats the going rate or does anyone have one they want to sell? If theyre too expensive il just make one out of alloy. Cheers
  7. A brand spanking m3 being driven to the dealer. It was real puuurrdy
  8. Tried out the Subaru upper engine cleaner in the sedan, had a bit of crap come out. Also swapped out the smoked clear indicators for the old orange ones. Think I prefer the orange now. Now to order the u.s spec indicator light sockets...
  9. Haha Thatl be why you don't have a silver set! Anyone wanna pick it up and get it sent for me?
  10. I think I had 42 offset on my e30 and only just cleared struts. 20mm bolt ons are min thickness I would go but il let the e30 boys put their 2c in Edit: nice tidy e30 btw, I'd almost stick with the current wheels for an oem lookB
  11. Just fixed mine the other week after having the spinning for years then it jammed in on so had to pop the electrical barrel on the back off to start/ stop it. you can either drill a wee hole through where the barrel sits in and put a screw in to stop it spinning as a temp fix or have to get a whole new barrel like I did for 250 odd dollars. A good vid on YouTube about how to do both but when releasing the barrel you need it in acc, not on as stated in vid
  12. Don't believe what the box says, I'd say 45 is right but to check look on the insides of the wheels and should have all the specs on them, size, width and offset
  13. Are you sure? From the photos I've got theyre they wavey type
  14. Brent has a set in silver, I got the front bumper so I'm sure he'l do you a straight swap
  15. A standard black e36 touring. Now I know of 3 getting around town, including mine
  16. I always liked the e30 but wasn't too keen on the e36 touring but now that I have one, I love it! And since I've been looking at others for inspiration I never knew how good they can look.
  17. That's one sexy touring, nice job!
  18. I would of thought they'd want to do you a good, fast job being that the yazoom voucher is basically cheap advertising once you start raving about how good they were etc. Don't think they quite see the way it works though...
  19. Is it just me or did that vid look sped up? Also +1 for looking better on before photos. Definantly needs better wheel choice and height to pull it off
  20. No problems, Good to here you have a lockable door again.
  21. They are identical apart from the outter ball joint. Youl notice the e36 has a rubber mount underneath it which is ment to give it a better ride at the cost of sharper handling. Thats why alot of guys run the e30 lower arms
  22. Just watched this again for the third time! Freakin amazing! Love the cheeky BMW cameo on the bridge at the end
  23. I would say it's the solenoid box. Quite a common thing at this age. Replaced five on the two cars and now a sixth needs done and I'm thinking of getting new ones because they can be a sh*t of a thing to get to especially the rear doors and I don't want to be doing them again
  24. Try abit of crc in the lock, failing that it could be the lock solenoid box that triggers the central locking. Hav a similar problem with my passengers door. Wont lock with the rest and can be very difficult to do with the key. Try sitting in the car with door closed and use the pin to try lock and unlock it to free it up.
