Hey all, I'm looking for some m3 side mirrors for my touring to complete the m transformation. I've been looking at some on eBay but they state lhd only. Is there any reason why they are non transferable? I wouldn't of thought there was an issue. Any info would be good Cheers

Go for a touring. All the cool Dunedin members are repping them -
Thinking of that antil33t, there's what looks like a 70s 280se Mercedes for sale on kv rd by bowling alley with 20" chromes and still at standard height. Omg is it disgusting!

New window motor replacement, now window won't wind all the way up
euroriffic replied to tumeke4u's topic in Maintenance
I'd say it's because you didn't have the window or the motor in the same position when you put the new motor in so that's why it doesn't go all the way up and too far down. -
It's not too bad now. Mite just need a bit of use

Doesn't have it due to being a manual. I've got it to work now after prying it to the side abit but it's still quite difficult to get key in but only when barrel is in the column. Fine when it's out.
-
Had a screwed ignition barrel and have just replaced after a nightmare to get it out. New one went in fine, turned into off position and took key out but now the wee security flap inside it won't let me put the key back in at all! Any Ideas guys?

Only thing I could think off is that they Checked the Regos to make sure they were in my name but I only gave them my first name so just hoping it was me haha

15s on a 328i! Really? Mine had the factory 16"x7 style 25s As the most I've seen but someone had swapped them for a set of 17x7.5 style 10s at some point as still have the 16" spare but it is an se so maybe that's why it had 16s. The 318i had 15s

Ok so I got my new ignition barrel and spare key from BMW yesterday so can attempt to replace the barrel. But my main concern is the lack of security measures that were taken. I went in to price them up but the parts guy wasn't there so left a message with the receptionist with rego numbers of the cars for the parts and he rang me back about them with a price. So I ordered them under my first name and was told to wait 10days. Did that and went in and asked for them, said my name and "yes, they are here. That's $430 dollars" paid, took them and left. No "can we see your I.d and proof that you own the cars" that has me worried. Anyone else had the same experience from the dealer?

Got a plethora of parts this week to try fit over the weekend. New key for the touring, new ignition barrel for the sedan, 2x cabin filters, 2x thermostats, viscous coupling for sedan and outer balljoints for touring. Let the good times roll!

Let me know if you need anything from ripco Michael cos I get mad discount. Got a hundy off a battery last weekend and Also looking into the hydroblades. I'd say BnT will sell the Bosch ones so mite try there, also get a good discount there too. Also, I'm sure you would of had to get the gas struts redone for the touring, if so where from and would you recommend?
