I'm a sparky by trade, can do abit of autosparky work and most other things on a car which is handy owning a BMW
-
Yea parking isn't the best down there. What's it costing you to get them done?
-
You are correct in thinking that diesel guy and it is in the road code. If I'm turning right into the one way il go straight into closest lane but since the left turning people normally have the right of way they usually don't pay any attention to this rule and pull straight into furtherest lane where I'm already turning into. So usually I'm vary wary as to what the other car is going to do. God damn dunedin drivers!

Thanx Brent. Was gutted when I found out and that the day before you had sent my bumper away. Ohwell

Ok so I got my rear bumper and skirts yesterday, buuuuut... Have a problem with the skirts. I knew one of them was broken but was told he had the broken off piece. But when they arrived there was no broken piece but thought ok, I can deal with that but to make things worse is that it's not even a motorsport skirt! So I have one msport and one broken standard. Sooooo does anyone want to sell me a drivers side skirt? Go on...

Seen a 1973 Audi 100 sedan. Can be many of them around

Best place would be automotion down hillside rd. Take Most of my stuff along those sort of lines there and seem reasonably priced too. I know they do alot of wheel straightening and fixing cracks etc so I'm sure this would be an easy task for them.

After you said about the screw trick I googled it and found a vid on you tube showing how to Remove it and do the screw trick to stop future spinning. But on that he had it in the on position but it was a lhd car so maybe that's why I couldn't get it to work. BMW said they have the proper tool to do it so if i cant get it done myself I'm hoping they can easily enough

So I ordered a new barrel today...260 odd dollars. Mother of god!

I converted my sedan about 2 years ago and only just got picked up on them on the last wof. The main problem is because of the exposed bowl around the lens throughs out a weird light pattern with hids as the halogens went really strong enough to be noticeable. I found a guy in the uk that makes like a shield so the light can only go through the lens which controls the light better and 'should' make the light pattern acceptable. Going to try get some ordered or just get them made up here and see how we go. FYI the wof guy said if I could get BMW to ok hids it would be fine but they couldn't really tell Me anything

If your trNny was still a good runner I'd try find a damaged box that still has a good pump or even just the drive gear. Mine was right on the front on the box so easy to pull out. Even got the replacement one rebuilt with new seals for like 100 bucks. Don't know what e36 boxes are like tho...
-
Had a similar problem with my e30. I didnt have the pump drive key lined up right when putting the box back on and broke it about 500m down the road aswell. Had to get a replacement pump

Hey, welcome to the forum. Sucks your new cars broke already. Had a friend with a wee corolla with a similar problem and it was a blocked fuel filter. When was it last replaced and do you let the tank go real low before refilling? If so could of sucked some crap into the linesmfrom the bottom of the tank

Welcome aboard Richard, Sorry to hear you have to sell the e30. Had afew myself and a great wee car when they don't need repairing. I've got two e36s and they are a big step up in regards to modernness. Have had the odd problem here and there but nothing too major...touchwood

That's an m20 sorted then, just a m42 to go
-
Haha, good old bainsey...
-
Haha close, sorta... Up pine hill. They live on the corner where I turn down to get to my St. Where the shooting was afew months back. Our street seems pretty good tho, mostly oldies. Seems stupid to put them and the mungies a block away from each other. Good ole housing nz for ya

The Wreaker here is after both e30 4 and 6 cylinder manual flywheels to get a few projects finished. If any of you guys have one let me know what you want for them and will pass it on for a yay or nay. Cheers

First time I've seen them on an e39. Usually a 36 or 46. Lookin good tho
-
So to remove the barrel I need to get it into acc? That may be a problem as it seems to have jammed in on. Will see how I get on with it in the weekend
-
Great write up there. I'm looking into doing this to the 328 in the not too distant future after the 318 has had it's transformation. Already have seal and rattle kit ready to go so just need gaskets and borrow the cam locking blocks off the Wreaker. Good to see it wasn't overly difficult to do for another back yarder so should be able to do it easily enough.
