  4. Hey guys, as stated on the hunt for some m sport bumpers, skirts and moldings for my touring. It's alpine white in colour so if someone had a white set that would be mint but will settle for others. Let me know what you've got and a price and an estimate on shipping to Dunedin. Cheers guys
  5. Fixed drivers window on the touring then tried to tint it and failed so booking it in for next week. Started to claybar/ cut and polish then discovered the bonnet is covered in paint splotches from being parked next to a fence while it was being painted at a guess. So I gave up and got a beer
  6. According to total BMW magazine there were only two genuine rhd e30 m3s ever made and I'm pretty sure they were both black and in japan. I'm guessing this has been converted to rhd later in life

  9. I had a similar problem with a wheel nut. If it's the type of bolt u put a socket onto try heating it up with a gas gun etc then hammering on a smaller socket. Worked a charm for me. Or could try welding another nut to it.

  14. I'd start at the basics. They Have separate fuses for left and right light so check them. Can you here the relay click on and off when you pull the knob? or could be switch. Had a problem with mine and wouldn't turn on dash lights so could be similar problem.

  16. Hey guys, just got myself a manual 318i touring for a run about so i can stop using the 328i as a work hack and wreaking it with tools and me in it tearing up the boot and leather. already has afew marks Anyways, I am wanting to convert it to m' bumpers, skirts and side mouldings and maybe mirrors but am unsure to what i can fit on it. found a guy in chch on t.m wreaking an m sedan minus front bumper so was going to steal what i could off that if any of it will fit -fingers crossed. also it needs a new drivers window track and has a torn up rear seat base which id like to replace and again unsure if its different to sedans. and lastly! suspension, are they transferable and a good recommendation, will have abit of weight in the back most the time so dont want anything thatl sag... thanx in advance! Justin

  18. Hey I upgraded my 11 button to an 18 and was pretty easy, Just need the two plugs that plug into it and just a bit of cutting/ splicing afew wires in the back of the instrument cluster. Just need to get the airbag light reset from removing steering wheel. Cookies charged me 20 to do it
  19. I had a similar problem in my e36 afew months back. Was going round a tight bend in the wet and lifted inside wheel n when the lsd grabed it went bang and broke a tooth off the spider gear that jammed between the end of the axle and diff centre and popped the axle out. Thort it was just the clips too but not that lucky still havnt got the diff rebuild yet... Doesnt clunk anymore since i got the broken tooth out and still drives sweet haha. Should really get it done tho...
  20. Sweet as. Let me know how you get on. Shipping should b about 15-20 buks also
  21. hey, im in dunedin with a set of front struts with/without low king springs if wanted. also have rear struts n springs. seemed alright when doing the "bounce" test and drove alright. also its out of my 328 sedan but should be the same?
  22. Im pretty sure autolign make custom urathane/ nolothane bushes. saw it on preformance car tv . could try giving them a call
  23. Yea saw that, and the local wreaker has one too but unsure weather that the 320 unit would fit. would have sweet accelleration tho . . .
  24. yea its the spider gear, according to the net its a 2.93:1 and is a medium case. had a bit of difficulty with the lsd unit originally because the crown gear is thinner so woundnt line up right so had to get a replacment
  25. hey all, was driving my 328i home up a tight, steep wet street and was comming out of a corner up a steep incline and felt like only one wheel was spinning then i heard a clunk and then both started spinning doin about 2000rpm in 2nd then spun for about 3-5secs till it got traction again and was off and all good. then later on when i went out again it started making a big clunk clunk round corners on occasions so i got it home and up on the jack and noticed the left axle stub wasnt sitting right in the diff so pulled the half shaft off and the axle stub to investigate and looking throught the hole i could see a broken tooth on the inner gears and the found the bit of missing tooth aswell luckily, so pulled that out and put it all back together so i can least move my car aroung if need be. still drives alright just get a slight clunk round corners every so often. so what I was wondering was if anyone has had the same problem and the best solution for it and if anyone had a wreaked diff with a good gear on it to rebuild mine if possable cheers justin
