i had my whole roof repainted, which required it to be sanded right back, sprayed with etched primer etc. got it done for 450. door area smaller than roof imo, so i guess thats cheaper than your 500 insurance claim. ask around for quotes at paintshops.

^thats a good idea. my local tyre shop charges 30 per strut, so i guess thats the rought estimate, unless u know some local wreckers thats nice haha

impact wrench. some people had success with the top nut by loosening it whilst still under load in the car. vice grips can damage the rod.

Looking for 4" pad for cutting compound, and 4" pad for polishing with velcro backing. any info on where to buy them would be great. TIA

i'm running 195.50.15, just do 55 in 50 zone 65 in 60 zone etc... as for the looks, guards dont seem that filled up, but the wheels dont look as chunky as 55 profile

Welcome and good luck with the m42, finding an e30 m42 will be hard IMO. e36 ones will be more common, but wiring mite be tricky -
