Angel Eyes for E36 - Sacrilege or Sweetness?
handgrenade replied to handgrenade's topic in Appearance
Ordered a full replacement kit. Proper HID projectors everything. Harness looms with multiple triggers to run the angel eyes. Plug and play. Costs more than the standard install of individual components all together but only by about 25%. -

The tech exists for led headlights eg Audi r8 but don't think there is a plug and play setup for a halogen lamp replacement

VANOS maintenance kits - what and who will install?
handgrenade replied to handgrenade's topic in Maintenance
Thanks ! Sent Ray an email .. Will call him tomorrow if I don't hear back -
Hi all I would like to do some maintenance on my VANOS on my s50b32, however BM workshop will not perform the work since they haven't done it before and are just relying on info from the USA. Are there any other workshops who do have experience with the maintenance kits and anti rattle kits etc who would be willing to fit these kits? Thanks.

bmw e36 M3 alloy wheels ,17" by 7.5" sunflower type
handgrenade replied to BM WORLD's topic in For Sale
Sorry for thread hijack, but I do have the evo forged wheels with no logo and staggered. Good luck with this sale though, the motorsport prints are awesome and the non staggered set up is lighter as well. OP let me know if this post is inappropriate and I will remove it. cheers -

Bimmersport preferred/sponsored Decal supplier
handgrenade replied to handgrenade's topic in General Discussion
OH THAT LOOKS SO AWESOME. THANKS FOR THE PHOTO~!~~ -
Hi I may be getting some temporary decals .. does anyone have any suggestions for a supplier or sponsor who they would recommend? Ideally it would be with someone who knows the club (giving them business), or next best would be someone who does good work i.e. decals which won't damage paint and they can print custom decals if I provide image files. Cheers

Need buyers advise; high kms e36 vert - yay or nay?
handgrenade replied to rowans17's topic in TradeMe discussions
maintenance history is the best to check. Otherwise see my other post on a similar topic regarding a high kms 7 series. My e36 just ticked over 280kms and its not doing too badly. i have full service history though! -
Going to clay bar the thing soon

E36 Factory look bluetooth GUIDE
handgrenade replied to handgrenade's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
okay so I talked to Stuart at wiretech and he advised me to splice into the loom addition which goes to the anycar link. I cut the yellow power wire and spliced in the filter and then cut the black ground to tap a third line into the factory ground. still getting a whine through the speakers. Is it possible the factory ground is not sufficient? And that I need to run my own ground to the chassis from the filter? Or maybe did I get the input/output wrong on the filter? Cheers -
whats wrong with dishwashing detergent!!

handgrenade replied to handgrenade's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
will pick one up this afternoon and see how it goes! should be as simple as splicing into the two wires on the loom - yellow and black. unless i ground the thing individually to avoid another splice. hit up this guy wirestech at xtra.co.nz Hopefully you can avoid the trademe fees that I paid! oh - the trademe price was 210 I think .. the harness adaptor is meant to be compatible directly with the bmw radio plug, so if you've chopped that up to install your alpine unit - you may need to do a little re-wire. -

Thanks for the tip. So I just get that part and then cut the stereo power and wire this in sequence? Cheers -
