Time to get realistic about selling my e28. I'll update this as things come to mind. As much as it pains me, I need to sell this, as it doesn't quite fulfill what I want from a daily or a weekend car (IE. jack of all, master of none. Not sensible enough for a daily, not silly enough for a weekender). Also it should be keep original, which again doesn't fit with my OEM+ end goal for my cars. If I had the space I would keep it, but I don't so it needs to find a new loving home. As per the title, after an e28 pedal box from a later car with the brake booster on the drivers side. Auto, manual or no pedals at all, mainly need the bit that bolts to the firewall

Because New Zealanders like facades You can see a sunroof from outside, but not the manual windows.

My understanding is that M30, M5x, etc cars had large flanges, m20s and 4 cylinders had the small one. The 260 came on m20s and m30s.

Since I can't PM images... The "weight reduction" was there before I purchased the gearbox.

In a moment of lucidity (not lunacy I swear) I took the entire steering column to a look smith to get a key made... who promptly told me he needed the drivers door lock. And got some fresh plates for the e46.

@BM WORLD I'd prefer to go new. What setup did you go with? I know they can run ok most of the time with a dead tank pump, but I'm still going to want to rev over 5k on a 1/4 tank haha

Despite having a decent amount of spares, a good E28 in-tank fuel pump is not something I have. (I do have an E34 one, that *should* work) So I'm looking to upgrade to an OEM+ type solution as that appears to be cheaper than a standard OEM pump. Thoughts on this? https://catuned.com/walbro-fuel-pump-genuine-install-kit Or any other suggestions?

Well, that took longer than expected... Ended up getting a can of alpine white, epoxy primer and standard primer. I was quite impressed with the primer, haven't finished the colour coats yet. (Better late than never )

A replacement box is probably fair if you can install it yourself.
