  1. I'm not sure where to begin, other than "M POWA".... https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-1469139554.htm
  2. Have a look here, two options: http://racehead.com.au/products-page/
  3. @m325i any idea how much it'd cost to import some?
  4. I'll have some e46 msport ones for sale shortly.
  5. When you run out of time to fix your daily because you've spent too much time on projects, and you have to pay someone to install a part so you can get a WOF
  6. Hit 163000km in the 525e, but my biggest fan died, so now I've got to pull the dash apart to get to the heater fan
  7. @M M cheers man, just what I needed.
  8. Put a 3rd pedal into the m535i and cleaned the interior so it no longer feels like a cocoon of disgustingness (who knew door handles could go mouldy)
  9. Put up a post in the for sale section, see if you get some bites. http://bimmersport.co.nz/forum/11-for-sale/
  10. Also, I'd hesitate to spray CRC into the ignition barrel, I'd try some powdered graphite first.
  11. The PS reservoir can leak when full/overfull under hard cornering (comes out the bleed holes in the cap)
  12. Assuming the rest of the car is good, put a new engine in it, or sell it whole to someone with the intention of putting a new engine in it.
  13. @M M any luck with the driveshaft measurements?
  14. I currently have one diamond key but would like another one. Is there anyone in Wellington who can code them? (Also wasn't there an option where you could buy them pre-coded overseas? Schmiedmann? ) Or do I need to ship my key somewhere? Failing that, does anyone have a recommendation on an AK90 or EWS editor to buy?
  15. I'd rather this at $10k than an e30 at $10k (Though really I'd rather have the e39 540i six speed and $2k worth of maintenance and gas money )
  16. If you're doing it properly, they're basically the same when it comes to tuning etc, in fact, I'd go as far as to say with the stock ECU and loom the M52b28 is a nicer engine to use as a base compared to the m50tub25. What engine mods did you have in mind? There's not really any bolt on mods for either that will make significant power gains (the M50B25 manifold plus a tune on the M52B28 is a hotly debated bolt-on "upgrade").
  17. For that much money, I'd rather have this... https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-1321392579.htm I think the reason you're not getting any responses is you're looking for something too specific but at the same time not (the vast majority of BMWs for sale on Trademe are E36s...). There's no real reason IMO to limit yourself to a non-vanos 325i, I'd recommend looking for a manual 325i or manual 328i, or budgeting an extra ~$1000-1500 to manual convert it if you do it yourself.
  18. I'd like to respectfully suggest that going to taller tyres to get more ride height is not the correct method as you'll be changing the speedo reading, how the car handles and accelerates and likely increasing the change of the tyres rubbing as they'll be even further up in the guards. Unless of course you've changed to the correct size tyre, in which case ignore my comment.
  19. Surely someone wants some classic West German parts?
  20. Is someone in Wellington able to flare a brake line for me? I also need the threaded part.
