  1. Yeah I did, will PM specs when I'm home.
  2. They were all manual. Suspension is great (new bilsteins in the rear) - Motor is fine. Whole car is mint, but I just don't drive it like I do the paseo (Which I bought for $500 and don't give a crap about, so I drive it like a rental car at all times). I'll drive it more come summer, but I did downgrade from an M3 so definitely missing a bit of power
  3. I should probably drive mine a bit more and find out.
  4. I drive a 318is MS, well, I've owned it for 3 weeks and have driven it once. Boring and slow as hell. My Paseo is quicker and handles better. Looks nice though. Spend the money on a 328, or if you really want to turbo something, buy a 325 with an m50b25.
  5. Want to keep the ones on the car as spares as they're original. The car is in pretty much factory spec aside from bigger wheels, so want to have the option to return it to that state. I'll probably go with Ebay grilles, just prefer to buy locally (even if 2nd hand) as it's quicker.
  6. Yup, you're right - after further research it appears that some of the "PFL" kidney grilles on ebay are modified facelift grilles to look like PFL. WTB: Facelift grilles in black. :>
  7. Don't really care whether or not they're FL or PFL, as long as the pair is matching. Must have no paint chips/fading. Prefer not to wait for ebay shipping times. Also after mint condition passenger side facelift headlight (sedan if any difference, can't remember.).
  8. As stated - wanting a road legal (current WOF) Dakar sedan or coupe. 318is MS, or 325/328i. Cheers.
  9. To fit the m3 rotors on the 330 calipers you'll need to grind some metal out of the caliper carrier so they fit without hitting the caliper - we did exactly this on my old e36.
  10. If coolant/water came out of the expansion tank after it had been sitting and had cooled completely this means that the system was still pressurized, this could be caused by heater control valve being stuck closed, combustion gases in cooling system etc. Compression/leak down test it. I speak from experience (luckily mine was just a faulty HCV). 115 is the danger zone for an m54, anywhere from 80-114 is normal.
  11. I'm using a Uniden LRD 750nz. Cheap (got mine for $400) but absolutely brilliant, almost never get false alerts and is quite sensitive (couple km read). Every time it's started screaming there's been a legit reason (cop/camera/van), so am happy. Use on both my bike and car.
  12. Do you hear any bubbling/gurgling from the expansion tank right after you shut the car off? If there's residue on the expansion tank then there's coolant leaking - could be a failing tank cap, or possibly something like the heater control valve failing and causing over-pressurisation (hence buggling/gurgling) of the system, making it bubble out the top whilst driving, I had this exact issue in my M54 after replacing the entire cooling system, failed HCV was cause. On your dash (with car running), hold the trip meter in until it flashes into test mode (About 5-7 seconds), click it until the number hits 19, wait one second, click it again to put it into test mode (19.1) then click it to 7 to show current coolant temp. useful for open road driving to see if you're overheating at all.
  13. Drivers seat is the same, can tell by the stitching to the left of the guy's leg. Bugger.
  14. Reid's old car, he sold it for 4k. (with most of those mods)
  15. so just bid 22.5k when the auction is about to close
  16. Awesome, been wanting one of these for quite a while.
  17. Yes, will fit a 330ci (m54 engine). Happy to post. I'll let you know on monday if they're available - Kyu messaged me to hold them until then, if no go with him will PM you.
  18. Unneeded, was $120 USD for seals + rattle repair, $5 USD shipping to my youshop box and $17 NZ shipped here from there. Want $120. Can ship for free. Apologies for poor photo quality - phone is buggered.
  19. et39 will fit, make sure the centre bore matches e36 and not e39 (e39 have different centre bore to all others). Based on the offset they probably aren't e39 ones though. Tyres would be 225 or 235/35/r18, Depends if you want a slight stretch.
  20. The same trader has been selling this for over a year. Believe you may be thinking of another, or he possibly had it listed for a time with a lower price due to a fault, who knows.
