  1. Found an Alfa Giulia sitting in traffic on the Upper Harbour offramp. No photo as I was driving past it at the time. Damn that car is gorgeous. Pity they're apparently a typical Alfa in terms of mechanical reliability.
  2. Damn, that's well priced. GLWS.

Make sure it's the "5D" look carbon. Those extra dimensions really make it stand out.
  4. My old car Regret selling it, was my first BMW also. In excellent condition, new owner has treated it well, he flew to Auckland from invercargill and drove it back down in late 2014. EDIT: Oh - those are also fake europlates. Never had an issue with them. Were on the car when I bought it. Standard plates are probably still in the spare wheel well.
  5. This also had a big square hole cut in the spare wheel well, through the rear crossmember. The current owner purchased this knowing that. Need to ensure that was repaired correctly. I suspect it has been, but if potential buyer is from here, might want to take a look at that.
  6. Man, this thing is being resold every couple of months now o.o Looking great, GLWS.
  7. Fix'd. Stupid. No idea why they designated the different chassis code Almost as stupid as splitting the 4 door and 2 door cars into 2 different models and then making a bloody 4 door version of the 2 door model anyway.
  8. Regardless of it not being original, I really like that color .
  9. Welcome. These 130's are awesome, especially in manual, enjoy!

Yeah, it looked great when you sold it and even better now. (Quoting the original price was not meant to insult any party - was simply a comparison to it's prior condition & value)

    96 E36 M3

It was rough, paint looked garbage, had non-m3 shocks in it, was missing a bit of the interior, and had horrible red vinyl vaders and door cards, looked like they'd been recovered in cheap material. It was worth $7500 when Brad (Who sold to Chris) bought it, it's worth much more now.

And to think this was sold for $7500 less than 2 years ago. Looks good now, GLWS.

    FS 2003 330i E46

Maintenance history aside, it is a 4 door non-motorsport auto that's closer to 200k km than 150k. It isn't worth 8k in the current market, 6-6.5 at the most. It's a nice car but unfortunately it isn't the most desirable spec. 8k would have been viable a couple of years ago but e46 prices have dropped dramatically (aside from manual cars) in the past couple of years.
  14. That's a bloody quick pace, makes it more astonishing to think that there are road cars that would be sitting at the finish line for 2 minutes waiting for this to show up.
  15. I'm not sure with BMW's but could you gut the cats? I did this on my TT 300zx. If you have pre-cat o2 sensors I couldn't see the above being a problem, and you shouldn't have issues with legality (being that the cats are still there).
  16. I see yours around Auckland - Still looks in good nick. Front bumper mesh has been removed and some backyard-special splitter bolted on, and some stupid JDM tow hook hanging out the front, but aside from that it still looks and sounds in decent condition.

    Now lower it and hnnnggggg
  18. Pressurised coolant system when the car is cold is not a good sign - possible cause is combustion gases in the system, which is a symptom of a failing Head gasket. Do a leak down test.
  19. What's wrong with a de-badged BMW? o.O
  20. Nick (W.industries) is excellent to deal with. He imports cars (M3's) from the UK and wrecks them, I've had one of his gearboxes in one of my cars and no issues. Clutch kit can be had for roughly $1100 from NZAD (including pressure plate/flywheel I believe but I may be wrong). Also recommend replacing gearbox oil (as if it's imported he has to drain them anyway) with Redline D4 ATF, shifts like butter.
  21. Genuine. 17" BBS Style 42 2pc 17x7.5, ET38 Centres are all in excellent condition (albeit a little dirty as I just removed from my car). Lips have clear coat peel, curbing etc. Most of the discoloration on the lips in the photos is just dirt, except for bottom right wheel in photo which is clear coat peel. . 2 fake centre caps. Deserve being pulled apart, lips sanded back and resprayed. 225 dunlops on them all have camber wear down to wear indicators, likely won't pass a WOF but they'll come with the wheels. $300 or closest offer. Pickup north shore after 5pm weekdays (taking time off work next week though so any time then) or any time weekends. EDIT: I shouldn't have to provide the stud pattern (But facebook is an indicator that I must..) - 5x120.
  22. Hobsonville > Takapuna, wake up at 6.40, am at work by 7.40, 16km total. BIke takes roughly half that time, don't have to go any back route, just lane split down the motorway.
