  1. I feel like this is the best time to get one. The prices have taken a hit compared to COVID times.
  2. https://www.alpina-classic.shop/teile/leichtmetallrad-classic-8x16-passend-fur-e30-ha You can still buy them directly from Alpina, staggered set too. edit: that's price for a single wheel btw.
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHA. He/she/they deserve the flak in the query section.
  4. @Kodachrome For the sake of compliance - it doesn't require one. But for the sake of bringing a RHD CSI back to all its glory - yes.
  5. This is happening with classic american Muscle cars too especially the ones that end up at auctions. My guess would be $50-60k. This is gonna be a big project, at least requiring a bare metal respray. Add it to some parts are gonna be unobtainable. The odometer is already at 160k. I hope it goes to someone who puts in the $$ and effort and drives it on the road.
  6. Normal E30s are struggling a bit whereas E30 M3s are still doing well. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-4907078184.htm
  7. Thanks but I really want the blue with the grey leather. I noticed it failed WOF twice which was saddening to see.
  8. Anyone know the new owner or the whereabouts of this car? I would be interested in buying this back off him/her.
  9. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/mini/cooper/listing/4779499526 https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/mini/cooper/listing/4707003945 Technically it is still a BMW. These are a lot of fun to drive.
  10. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-4736658083.htm Dear Santa...
  11. Thank you, I was grinning all the way home driving it home with a fresh WOF and rego.
  12. Thank you, I was grinning all the way home driving it home with a fresh WOF and rego.
  13. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/325i/listing/4569771516 This seems like a fair price for the car. I do like the body color but those wheels gotta go. I guess the big issues are it's an UK import and the unknown mileage?
  14. It's the only other NZ new black tech 1 I know of. It's had some extensive restoration done too.
  15. It is interesting seeing prices of regular E30s and Mtech 1/2s in Aus are almost the same as NZ but E30 M3s are way higher in Aus. BAT auctions seemed to have cooled off as well for E30 M3s.
  16. I think pretty much every classic car marque has taken a hit with the exception of 80s and 90s supercars. And with the sad situation in the ME, things could get worse in regards to Petrol prices. E46 M3 manuals are down into the 40s and 50s even here in Australia. I just missed a convertible manual for $30k with 120kms on the clock. But yes if I wanted to spend $30k on a car, an E46 M3 manual would be a lot of fun but maintenance would be a lot higher too compared to an E30 325i. I am almost tempted to sell my Mtech 1 in NZ to score an E46/E92 M3.
  17. So filling it with rice is not an option then.
  18. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/m3/listing/3980189698 It’s back. I remember the salesman/owner got shredded on Facebook for listing this at $140k or thereabouts.
  19. I hope everyone and their E30s are safe in Auckland.
  20. These seats don't look original. Rose City cars again.
  21. Did you guys see the black S13 with a RB26DETT conversion on tardme - went for $40k. Just a couple of months ago. That was a steal!
