    I think it’s a converted manual as well. For $40k, an E36 M3 evo in good condition would be a better car/investment in the long run.

    It’s a bit like the housing market. It’s a buyer’s market atm. If you are really desperate to sell your classic car or your house, you are gonna have to lower your expectations. But if you are not, or can ride it out, I think things will pick up again in a couple of years.

    The silver Mtech 2 didn't sell on trademe. I think $50k is a more realistic price but then again, it sometimes just depends on on finding the right buyer.

    Is that a sunburnt orange M2 in the background? That looks good. Whereas the i4… 🤮 I just don’t view most of the new BMWs as BMWs anymore. I think the new Audis look spectacular. Saw the new e-tron GT on the road and that really stood out in a good way.

    E30 M3 price trend in the last 5 years. My brother in law is quite tempted by the yellow one. But it looks like a money pit. Might as well spend the extra on a good one.

    Thanks mate. I think COVID and Ukraine crisis has plateaued a lot of classic car prices. I may be pushing it for $45k. But it’s given me a rough figure if I have to sell it. It will more out of desperation if I do ever sell it. Might even take it to Auz with me.
