  1. Calling this mint would be an understatement @ItcheNZ
  2. WBAAB320X00858585 NZ new Mtech 1 black enjoying life. A friend of mine is selling his silver one on trademe (30k).
  3. https://waimakclassiccars.co.nz/listings/1986-bmw-525e/ Back for sale - $28.5k!!
  4. I am pretty sure this previous owner of this car was asking for advice on what price he should list this car for. I think it got sold pretty quickly for around $14k mark.
  5. Thanks mate. Will definitely do that. It’s NZ new and I have all the original paperwork. Yep, I drive it almost weekly. It’s nice to see their values going up but annoying as I will end up driving more carefully and insurance premium will go up too.
  6. Any idea on the price it sold for? Might have change the insurance on mine.
  7. Wow! Can someone take a screenshot of the auction? I didn’t add it to the watch list.
  8. I think prices overseas are steadily climbing for the E28 M535i. I advertised my one for $16.5k and was eventually offered $20k from a NZ buyer and I almost sold it. I had quite a few enquires from overseas buyers but I wasn’t entertaining them. And my one needed a bit of work. I think $25k-$30k is reasonable for that car. They are only going up in value. People are bidding $40k for the red E30 tech 2 on trademe. Yep, a lot of better cars can be had for $40k. But some people prefer driving an E30 tech 2 than a F10 M5. Each to their own. If I had $40k, I would be chasing a Z4M coupe or an E46 M3 manual.
  9. I wonder what price did it sell for. List for $140k and sold for $120k, new owner must think oh I got $20k off and the dealer has still made a healthy profit.
  10. I still remember the Silver one. That was gorgeous especially with that engine.
  11. Yeah definitely not $40k in my books either. Maybe, if it had less than 100k on the clock with full documented history. I think Brent @BM WORLD was selling his one with less kms for $25k which is the one I would get if I was in the market.
  12. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-3052539104.htm Really?
  13. I think an E28 is a great buy in comparison to an E30 especially considering the prices are very reasonable for them.
  14. An US spec 535is (diving board bumpers) with 88k miles just sold on BAT auctions for $50k USD. Obviously, it's an exception but slowly everyone else will put their prices up which will inflate the rest.
  15. That is gorgeous! Especially the condition you have kept it in. I think it would be fair to say that an example like this in UK would easily be fetching £15k at the dealers. In NZ - a bit less. I honestly think $16-18k in NZ would be a very fair asking price. If I were in your shoes, I would get a pro photographer to take some shots and list it for $22k.
  16. Welcome! Got more pics? She does look very nice.
