  1. You'd be a fool not to sell on trademe. As much as I hate it, it IS the NZ market.
  2. Large premium being asked but they seem to hang around for years. No doubt they're great cars but 50k is still too much for what it is in my opinion.
  3. Thread on 1M prices just over the page
  4. Sad story. Good luck with the sale.
  5. Removed from running car. Didn't notice any holes etc but best come inspect if unsure. Collect Kapiti. $20 or home brew WHY..
  6. E36 compact wheels x2. Minimal curbing but tyres are old. Good for cars in storage or dare I say skids. Bonus - single rim from a 328i. Again, minimal curbing and ok condition. Collect only Kapiti $beers
  7. Taxi drivers loathed to spend a penny on those Falcons and Commodores. They basically ran on bare bones maintenance.
  8. https://www.trademe.co.nz/2492683060 Looks like a disaster for 7k...
  9. I paid $2k for mine. This one looks a lot cleaner and better maintained, although higher kms. Hardly end of life, maybe end of life for BMW fans but would make a great first car, commuter or upgrade project.
  10. I don't think dealers should be allowed on trademe. It was better without them. It should be a private sellers marketplace imho.
  11. Rose City cars will put it back up for sale in again soon
  12. You're welcome x2 (recommendation to check it out and previous owner) ?
  13. A lot of car for 11g I would have thought?
  14. Very nice E36 in the forsale section, also welly based, but not a vert. I used to own it and it is very mint. Plate is 328CI. She might want to consider it?
  15. Isnt it called dolphin grey or something?
  16. You would probably get more interest if you posted some prices?
  17. Looks a little jacked to me, personal opinion, just saying.
  18. There seems to be an assumption that money spent on refurbishing wheels should able to be recovered. Like any modification imho that's not guaranteed.
  19. These guys are on trademe, called parts-nz in Canterbury. Enquired on Sunday the brand/manufacturer of this thermo https://www.trademe.co.nz/2411021523 Checked back tonight in case I missed their reply. Must have touched a nerve because they have deleted my question and blocked me! Obviously, I wouldn't recommend sending business to places that treat their customers like this. Cheers
  20. Just for sh!ts and giggles, any thoughts on the cheaper alternatives - can they really be that bad? I have located (in $NZD) on Amazon... MOSTPLUS pump $280 (Pierberg $461) TOPAZ thermostat $33.99 (Mahle $100) Meanwhile in NZ... Pierburg pump $570/$600/$700 (depending on where you shop) Nobrand thermostat $125 (BEHR $160) The winner - 'TrueFlow' $965 (this is on tardme from Australian seller - the dearest price I found and it's an ebay pump!)

The rear quarter and back end of the e60 is a bit slab sided but overall i think it's a good looking car. All BMWs have something in the styling that I don't like.
