Getrag 220 will take M52 abuse all day long. Pair it with an aftermarket billet flywheel and stage 1 clutch. That will get you broke enough.

No sorry. I'm finding sourcing parts in general to be a real struggle. I usually seek used by asking people wrecking them on trademe. You could try fcp euro for new stuff.

The heavy oils from tyres concern me. That and brake dust. It all ends up on our roads and is washed into our soils, rivers and oceans causing various cancers. Even electric cars and cycles are not immune. Stay home.

Theres usually at least one on trademe. Expensive but. Budget at least a grand for a clutch and flywheel.

Yes, discovered I have EWS 3D. Unsure where to go next. Can I get a non ews ecu and bypass this? Engine is an M52 into a compact. Thanks

Found it right up under drivers side. Plug is slightly different. Would it be ok to remove a tab do you reckon? Frustrating.

Yes, key has a chip. Car cranks with 316i chip but not 328i chip so must be some ews skulduggery in the car somewhere I guess.
