I would say something along these lines will be the issue. Are the clips fine, do you have the window aligned properly in the rubber guides??

Wow, that is pretty amazing work!

I think because of the amount of pimped up 19' chrome wheeled versions of these worldwide, people underestimate them. A friend of mine has the AMG version and the thing is a little beast. IMO these can look as good as a nice e30 when tastefully restored.

Damn, you guys either have way to much time on your hands or needa get a life (maybe both) I might get 1-2 torrents a week and my 2TB drive has about 500GB of movies/shows, which about half of i haven't enough time to watch probably in the next 2 years haha

Don't know a lot about e30's but once had a similar issue on my old e36... Turned out it was a fuel line to the injectors that had perished and the smell was coming through the window and vents (Just an idea!)

I was wondering why you would not get paid out but obviously you have... I have been in the same situation twice, once for an uninsured Subaru that a Maui Camper crashed into and they actually paid out about 1k more than the car was worth (plus i kept the car) and another time when my neighbour backed his boat and trailer into the back of my 3rd party insured Holden Acclaim and they paid me out the cost the panel beaters quoted to repair approx 2.5k by memory and i replaced the bumper and boot for about $800...

Im not surprised! I had a car impounded for 28 days when i was younger and the bodykit was damaged/broken when it was returned... the tow company denied responsibility but after the policeman vouched that it was undamaged when it left his view they replaced/panel and painted the rear end.

Just hang on to your old one, buy a cheap 20gb off Trademe and reinstall windows on it... Boom!!
