Hey guys, I haven't used the e36 for a couple of weeks and today i replaced the fan blade and ran her for about 5-10mins, i noticed some (not usual) white smoke from the exhaust, is this normal? I have read that it could be condensation in the exhaust or from the gas tank which is about 3/4 full... no coolant gone from radiator. Cheers

Neuton nt5000's or Kumho Zetum ZU37's are probably the best budget ($150ish) tyres around!

Starting the car heard a clunk, had a check and noticed one of the blades broke off... anyone have one for an m43 floating around? Cheers

Could be keen on these if they come up Brent!?

Yeah i had the same trouble with these guys, they damaged a turbo timer, blew fuses and didn't replace them and pissed me around quite a bit but i have also heard they are better now, prob still wouldn't use them though... Guy should of changed the name, i know they have a pretty bad rep in car club circles down here. -
E46 Motorsport Springs and Spoiler + M3 style mirrors

What sort of springs, 4cyl, 6cyl? -
TBH a decent clean and cut and polish would probably get you more bites... you might get away with it on TM but i'd think on this forum, people might be a bit more picky about their cars unless uber cheap!

Looking at expired listings, will give you an idea of what they are actually going for.

I don't know if i'm over thinking this but... Trademe

At a guess, and from the look of your signature... Maybe for advertising without being a sponsor!

Personally i think the Ronin car chase is one of if not the best of all time, I also love the Audi S8 getaway in it!

Does anyone work for BMW or can get service parts at trade?
cliffdunedin replied to OPTIONed's topic in Maintenance
Milland does OEM parts much cheaper then the dealership! -
I don't really have either haha Thanks guys, just keep seeing it pop up in my searches and think it's a fantastic looking machine... I guess one of you boys would have scooped it up by now if it was economical

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-606670327.htm We have probably all seen this over the past few months while trawling TM. Can anyone school me exactly why this can't be complied and also, if say i were to buy another e39 wagon what could my options be? Thanks guys

Hey guys. I'm looking at a 2001 e46 328i (94000kms) the guy who's selling it has just bought an e90 so it's been sitting idle for the past couple of months, a couple of things i noticed was creamy colored oil around the cap - from previous experience my old e36 had a similar issue when it wasn't run for a while, does this sound about right? Also it has a pretty good service history but can you guys suggest anything i should check a little more thoroughly before buying. Thanks in advance

I liked the old ones but def keen for another pair!

complete suspension overhaul
cliffdunedin replied to yng_750's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Nothing positive or helpful in this post AT ALL!! The dude's asking for some help and like usual you pipe up with your 'holier than thou' over opinionated attitude. Why not actually contribute to the guys dilemma without being an uber snob, stating things surely must be sh*t if the ONLY cost 1K or calling someone lazy and complacent... not everyone can be the BMW superhero you make yourself out to be!! -
Talk about insane Auckland property prices!

I'd love to know what bank/LVR would give you over 800k for a less than 10% deposit unless you were earning mega coin! -
I've read somewhere that a faulty ignition/system can cause e39's lights/electrics to play up... maybe something to lok in too

Only just saw this thread... That has to be one of the best line ups of e36's (from 1 owner) that I have ever seen! The Touring looks fricken awesome with the 32's! Strange, I have not seen any of them around town!?

Really really sad to hear, my thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
