I’m only 178cm but can’t imagine someone your height wouldn’t fit - likely similar size to an E61. The 320d is a little low on horsepower but diesel torque is strong (380nm from 1700rpm) and the 8 speed gear ratios help out too - a 328i would be much more lively - 250hp from a modern 2.0 turbo isn’t highly strung these days.

Had our F31 for 2.5 years and 50,000km - it’s been great - 320d Msport. Only niggle is the electric steering racks have a bushing that goes causing a front rattle - easy enough fix but ours is getting done for the second time this week. Handles and rides well but the electric steering is uninspired. They look fantastic in the right spec and plenty of space for gear as well.

- looking to buy a f31
- f31 high enough for a 189cm driver?
- (and 1 more)

Yup - my frame was snapped there too! How was removing the trim peices? heard its fiddly and I still have a box of the pricey clips to do this one day.

Looking porno as - love it haha

Got a proper Italian tune up today alongside some superior machinery - after so many km, still enjoys a bit of rough housing! All cleaned up again and ready for an E30 Coffee meet tomorrow morning @BMTHUG @Tobias01

@BMTHUG E30 meet in Parnell tomorrow morning - looking like a decent turnout...

Superb photos, definately double its value.

Sounds freaking sweet mate! Eventually I'll stroke and cam mine, lots of other things first though...

Car finally back and better than ever at least - the delay was caused by a wait on a front shock - assuming they only replaced the front left but front end feels a bit tighter now at least.

One last thrash before going on holiday for 3 weeks - an extremely rainy morning out to Piha. Not my picture, makes me miss my old proper camera.

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Sammo replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
Mostly still 2021 pricing and sitting around as a result. Some lovely ones in there though, just don't see anyone paying $25k for a sedan. Maybe if interest rates go under 5% 😂 -
Awesome - will look so good! Shocks in seats will help a bit, but possibly frames could need a little welding - my drivers was sheared in two spots at the base as well as the more common rear tab where it connects the back.

Lovely lovely lovely

Been a while since I had a proper fang in the E30 so great to get out today with a buddy and was great fun to switch cars for a while - with a polar opposite build - Supercharged M42 with 4.4 LSD / lightweight flywheel and Z3 rack - certainly made mine feel a bit lazy and luxury orientated haha. Must say mine looked pretty good in the rear view mirror 🤌🏽

Goddamnit, 2+ weeks to get repairs approved and now a 6 week lead time on parts 😶 Really should have sprung for the rental cover add-on, the E30 is getting all the miles now!
-
Looks stunning - hope to see it about in one of the spring / summer meets!
-
Not sure - wife has been driving it a bit with F31 being repaired but wheels are still the same
-
Whereabouts? No wheel change for me, perhaps a twin
-
MY Wheels? Maxilite Alpina rip offs
-
Loverly
-
Nah, impact itself wasn’t much - think suspension got rooted as the front wheel took most impact on the angle.
-
Unfortunately came off 2nd best with an altercation with an i20 😬 Was 2 minutes after its first wash in 3 months too. Only took me 44 years for my first fender bender. Car actually drove a few km home seemingly OK (just felt like the wheel was knocked out of alignment) until I had to reverse it.

@elias on a Sunday drive?

A neighbour in my new place parking garage - nice E34 540i on Schnitzers. Also a series 1 RX7 with a great pulse that gets plenty of use.
